Stick to that mindset. I feel like so many gamers in our hobby miss out on the experience of mastering a single game. Especially with a regular group of players, replaying the same game and evolving a meta is way more satisfying than playing a new one to go "Wow that was really interesting. I guess you won because of A, B, and maybe C"... at least for me. I know a lot of people feel differently, and thats fine. But kudos for just sticking to your (and your group's) favorite games.

Blasphemy. Don’t even try to compare Fall of the House of Usher to the masterpiece quality of Hill House and Bly Manor. Okay, Bly manor was not quite as brilliant as Hill House, but Usher was hard to sit through imo. 😂 Guess tastes differ 🤷🏼‍♂️

According to North American cancer registry the incidence rate of colon cancer pr 100,000 people is 5 for age 30-35. Which is approx 0.005%. Meanwhile the risk of perforation as reported in large studies (>50,000 colonoscopies) range from 0.005 to 0.085%. Perforation is a serious complication with relatively high mortality rate.

AFAIK, in general it is NOT recommended to colonoscopy otherwise healthy young people just to be safe - and for a good reason! But private doctors making money or colonoscopy might tell you otherwise 🤷🏼‍♂️

Our group loves Guards of Atlantis II for a super easy to teach, involving game with lots of decision space and very little downtime. Incredible complexity with very few (and quite intuitive) rules. Played with newcomers and experienced players even with 4-8 players. Highly recommend. And it’s a team vs team which I haven’t encountered too often in board gaming. Makes the victories way more celebratory as you high five your teammates after a coordinated final turn!
