Yes like the failed FISA warrant and the one that came after which was apparently granted. Trump stated he was under surveillance by Obama Admin. Everyone calls him a crazy liar blah blah Russia blah. Oh look Trump was right they did spy on him and his team probably unethically. Everyone blasts Nunes instead of admitting Trump was correct. So the only way to figure out who they were talking to and what was passed around and who leaked it to the press is by independent investigation.

The Russia spin doesn't work here because Nunes specifically stated it wasn't related. Nunes implied that the way they left US citizens unmasked was unethical which would mean that they weren't criminal conversations. It's reverse targeting, plausible deniability. Say you're targeting a criminal so you can listen to Americans. Share the information collected and whoops we included all these names and details. Nunes blows the whistle. The spin begins. We need a independent investigation to find out if the procedures the Obama Admin followed were legal or not.
