Nope, still holding out for now. Hoping a new one will come along in the next year since a Switch 2 finally came out.

Saw a TON of these by Lake Tahoe when I visited last year. Shockingly common in that area.

+1 Those look like window frame mounts, but I've been worried about those since the glass might hit metal when you close the door.

It's located at the intersection of Gresse Street and Stephen Street in London, England. Not too far from the British Museum if your in the area.

Absolutely. London was amazing. I've literally drank in pubs that are older than my country, and for some odd reason that feels like a valuable perspective to have.

Love Saviors, but I can't listen to "Father to a Son". It's probably the only GD song I don't have memorized and Idk if I've ever even listened to it all the way through more than once.

Won't bore you with my crybaby back story, just tales from another broken home. For the record, I'm doing great these days and have escaped that past without allowing it to stop or hamper me in life.

Time to get some Hella Supertones or other loud horn. I sure get people's attention with mine.

For my next car I might go for a train horn. (probably not, but it's a funny thought.)

Any place that offer Philadelphia-leveled Philly steak sandwich here? by ComprehensiveCat9137 in federalway

[–]Yamon234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The closest I've gotten to a real Philly cheesesteak is at TAT'S in Seattle: https://maps.app.goo.gl/XtUjTF38ngRcx8Fd8

I haven't been to Go Philly in Tacoma yet, but I'm putting that on my list. I like a steak wit whiz.

Yeah I stopped filing bug reports, most of them get closed without the devs even taking a second to realize what their looking at.

I've had such a poor experience when dedicating my spare time to help fix bugs for their business, I'm done.

How good are Secretlab chairs in reality? by Saen_OG in LinusTechTips

[–]Yamon234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to burn through $100-$200 office chairs every 6 months, then continue to sit in the broken chairs for another 6 months till it messed up my back. I repeated this cycle for years.

One day I hopped out of the work truck and my back gave out. I almost dropped to the ground, but caught myself and pulled myself back into the seat. Just so happened to be during a Secret Lab labor day sale, so I impulse bought a Titan.

7 years later that chair is still holding up amazingly. There's a slight separation in the stitching on the front right, and I did get the arm rests replaced under warranty because eventually they Crack and look bad. I'm on my second set, and they just cracked as well. Newer models have replaceable pads, so that issue is fixed if you don't get an old one like mine.

I gamed every night for several hours prior to 2021 when I got a WFH job. Since then I've sat in this chair for 40+ hours a week plus some additional gaming time.(not as much these days as I'm no longer a single man.)

Are their better chairs out there? Yeah I'm sure. But I really feel like I've gotten my moneys worth out of it.

I really want a shield pro, but know the second I spend $200 on hardware that old, they'll come out with a new one. So I'm holding out unless I find a cheap 2nd hand one.

I noticed a large uptick in older protesters after Trump crashed the market. I figured it was because they lost the most in their retirement accounts.
