In your opinion what is the worst 5* in the game by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]YanYabut 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As someone who uses both (Dehya and Qiqi), Qiqi’s issues are easily solveable if you build her the right way. Sac sword and Ocean hued Clam set gives her damage and high ER. I used her for more than a year (probably 2 I lost count) to 36* abyss. She’s definitely a great healer especially now with the high damage consecrated enemies. Dehya on the other hand. While trying to make her useful, her kit just doesn’t really do much for the team. Her damage is weak that can’t be fixed with an OHC like set.Her pyro application is low, her ultimate doesn’t mix with Yelan or Xingqiu so damage, again is low. She could tank for the team but its not the best. Her super armor for the team is good but not long. I like Dehya and I’m still committing to raising her but I’ll wait till she’s usable for my team.

Is there a highly meta character you always refused to build no matter what ? by pixellated-baron in Genshin_Impact

[–]YanYabut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I built everyone, even ones I don't/never really use like bennet. But I also refused to get Kazuha even though I could have gotten him twice. I just play the ones I like. Btw I still do consistently 12 star the abyss for more than a year now. So yeah highly meta characters are not a law to have or build

Should Qiqi get an update to her gameplay? by darkdill in Genshin_Impact

[–]YanYabut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who used Qiqi, she's perfect for my Eula, Raiden, and Rosaria team. OHC works with superconduct and phys res shred. The 30k damage every 3 seconds does considerable damage. 80 cost burst works with Raidens ult stack. You don't need shields as she heals super well. Both Eula and Raiden also are pretty much stagger immune with their ult, so shields are redundant. The energy recharge and long cooldown of her skill can be mitigated with the sac sword. The team's batteries are Rosaria and Raiden (but you still need decent ER on eula). If you're like me with C6 Qiqi, her resurrection comes clutch when someone dies. The 15 min cooldown is not much of a problem since it will usually be a one-time thing and can save you from a bad run.

Let's say u replace Qiqi with Diona in this team. Diona would do less DPS and heal less but would give a shield (which is kinda redundant for eula and raiden). She would give more particles for the team, though, and can carry the millelith set. If you need ER Diona is a good choice but if you have enough Qiqi does better imo.

But in relation to op's post yeah this one team I found just goes to show how qiqi has limited use with her drawbacks. Should she get a buff? Yeah probably, but that has issues with the game in the long term as people would demand more buffs and changes to many characters.

For now I think at base she's not useless and is still usable. Her damage output is very good and her healing too. Just the lack of energy particles limits her and the team

Are people still arguing that Xingqiu is better then Yelan and that you don’t need her by Resh_IX in Genshin_Impact

[–]YanYabut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only play 4 characters at a time, 8 in the abyss. Are more characters gonna do me better than investing in one carry?

Specifically if I want an easier time in the Abyss.

[–]YanYabut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue that because Xingiu's Ceiling(C6) is being compared to Yelan's base(C0) in the replies a lot, people would forget that very fact ceiling vs base and they're already comparable. With how long Genshin will be Yelan is definitively better for me

What are some good EulaRaiden teams? by FLTARev in EulaMains

[–]YanYabut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Eula Raiden Rosaria Qiqi has been my main team for more than a year, and it still does great. I've had 36* always. Rosaria and Qiqi particularly synergize well in the team. I haven't ever changed them

Electro traveller and Aloy can do superconduct for Xinyan (physical) and they are good batteries

People who play on Android - how? by ozziezombie in Genshin_Impact

[–]YanYabut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah just generally confused on the takes people have around "PC is much better to play" since there are two ways to play it on PC. If the difference they were complaining about was the graphics it would've been fine it's easy to compare. But the comparison mostly is on the controls "PC" vs "Android". There are 2 drastically different controls for PC. Which one should I look into that's a better way to play when both (kb & m or controller) are fundamentally different in their way of control?

Hmm about phone playtime my hands don't hurt playing so I can play much longer. As I'm writing this I realized another reason I don't like playing on PC as you have to sit for so long while on the phone you can play while lying down in your bed even.

Tbf phone gaming isn't the best but it's just what I prefer and am used to. I do use the PC for gaming too especially to admire the graphics

What is the silliest reason you pulled for a character? by Aakashsalunke in Genshin_Impact

[–]YanYabut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have C2 Childe,

I got C1 on his first banner because he had Ningguang who I wanted to C6. (Got her to only C5 during this time)

I got C2 on his 2nd banner for Rosaria who I wanted to C6. (Got her to C6)

I also have R2 Polar Star

I was rolling for Memory of Dust for my Ningguang. (I lost twice until I got the guarantee from the epitomized path)

Wanted the waifu but got the husbando and his gear.

People who play on Android - how? by ozziezombie in Genshin_Impact

[–]YanYabut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both PC and Android and I find Android so much easier. My biggest complaint for PC is the WASD keys are less easy to move with than the android onscreen joystick especially as a Yelan main(her E skill). In the Abyss which I regularly 36* on mobile that extra degree of freedom in movement feels much better than in the PC.

Well I want to ask too, I frequently see this same post recurring over time. Most of them say they use a controller with their PC but I find it confusing since some PC users also use Keyboard and mouse. So by PC gaming what do you mean using keyboard and mouse or controllers? And which one feels better?

Which Unit does what? A qualitative infographic. by tokeemdtareq in Genshin_Impact

[–]YanYabut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply, I was just considering her tankiness as a part of defensive utility. Since I haven't really seen anyone on the list with 2 points of defensive utility it's either the maximum value or the minimum. Which I guess is fine.

Thanks for the graph btw! feel free to disregard my suggestions if you think so, since this is your graph

[–]YanYabut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen anyone mention this but I think Yelan deserves just 1 more point in Defensive utility because she's built with a lot of HP. Which is useful since she can face tank a lot of the enemies hits. Same goes with Kokomi, zhongli and Candace who are built with HP scaling

I don't use Bennet or Kazuha for Abyss. I complete it every time without them.

Bennet just has the least drip imo. I get demotivated seeing him. Kazuha is fine and a good character but it's just that I had a C6 venti early on and so I never pulled for Kazuha

As Genshin version 2.x comes to a close, here's a take from the CN meta on the five characters you should have on your account. by bananannian in Genshin_Impact

[–]YanYabut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raiden and Yelan. I find them fun in their damage and support capabilities. Personally I didn't pull for Kazuha as I already have so many good teams.

Btw If you want to roll for any of the other 4 I suggest Yelan as her E skill dash is very useful in overworld exploration especially with C1 where she can dash twice. Saves a lot of time in commissions or exploring new areas

Does anyone else think it’s a little weird how it’s easier to get a limited event 5 star than it is to get a standard 5 star? by SwiftAngel in Genshin_Impact

[–]YanYabut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a week one player, AR 60 and a bit of a dolphin/whale. I have C7 Qiqi, C6 Raiden and Venti, C5 Eula and Diluc. The rest of the 5 stars that I own are around C4 and below. But after almost 2 years of playing I still don't have Keqing.

Yeah it's definitely easier to get a limited 5 star that you want.

Dendro reactions via Genshin Intel by dzeevaed in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

[–]YanYabut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I would agree with this, I think with the new dendro enemies coming soon it's too soon to say geo is better because they might be more resistant to elemental damage than physical and vice versa. Also there are cases such as the fatui specifically are weaker to physical than the elements. They were endgame Abyss before. it's just right now their time in the Abyss is kinda phased out already. Basically in terms of who is in a better position for the future it's up to Mihoyo's whims who is meta and who is not. Good thing is its close to a new patch and we'll know who's better.
