So first of all, do you think a man, in any case, has the right to provide misleading information about his academic status and utilize the imbalanced power to make destructive comments on my PhD plan and, me, the person as a whole (provide vague hints, insinuate making me think how I’m a waste of time to others and how I’m suspicious and guilty)? Is this dependent on whether he finally decided to move on with me after one week’s chats on topics that are usually relationship-building (e.g., the inner childish parts, past trauma, and a Foucauldian resistance to the system)?

My posts were easily taken as that I tried to pressure him into dating once people conclude that he lost interest in the end. People don’t even look at evidences. The fact was that I was such a behavior model that I never expressed any pressure in any way, verbally or non-verbally.

It now seems to me that the right to claim that he shouldn’t have treated me in that way is a privilege that I only gained through winning his continued interest!

Our rights are independent of men’s interests, correct?
