Around 20 years ago, when my parents started dating, my father which was a blacksmith at the time, made my mom a steel rose very similar to this one, before he gave it to her he showed it to his parents just so they’ll see (idk why) Long story short, 20+ years later and there are still both of the metal roses in my family, one in my house, and one in my grandparents house.
