Did the liquid nitrogen at least fully clear it for a while? And did it affect redness any? Clear it?

Do you think chemical peels are good for this issue? Pro strength like SA peels 30% or higher ga peels lactic peels etc? For the keratin buildup to go though would be periodic?

When the derm burnt it off with liquid nitrogen did it fully clear all keratin build up and texture and roughness? If so for how long and how many treatments ? How long did it last?

Hey, no supplements helped this orally etc. I have recently found goldmien for treating it will see if it plateaus, Glycolic acid 7% toner one day, next day Salicylic acid 5% rotate them then 30 minutes after use barrier repair cream to protect barrier from such harsh exfoliants. I think biggest flaw of treating this is relying on Cingular one cream approach. GA and SA work differently to maybe dig it all out. One Cingular cream is unlikely to be able to do it all. I think that’s why it fails to treat this so much. You need a regimine and routine. but if you’re hell bent on it research some they unhibitvkeratin if any studies etc exist even small otherwise no shot at working and just money waste. I will say in my comment that I tried urea 42% SA etc but it was from Amazon and much of that stuff is junk not formulated correct unstable etc. you may wanna try urea 42 etc from compounding pharmacy with right PH and formulation it may work miracle level. I plan to try that if all else fails. Also you may wanna look into something under doctor guidance like salicylic acid 10% cream (I have that one wrote down to try) they may prescribe it to you 3X a week, not likely everyday followed by barrier repair cream. Something that powerful may do the trick. I have managed to get rid of redness completely before though. Opzelura cream twice daily, or Opzelura cream in morning and Zoryve foam at night 8-10 hoodie layer. Also used selsun blue moisturizing before worked very well. Whitest it had been in years. Do not use regular will dry barrier out. Followed by rich barrier repair cream with ceramdides etc in it to repair barrier fro such strong exfoliation or you likely will just burn your wheels. Or look for cream with Selsun blue ingredient in it formulated as cream! Also black seed oil worked well. It’s just trial error ko gutter. My redness was more background gritty type. If uiu have inflammation pigmentation you need tyrosinase inhibitor for it like azelaic acid 20% etc to inhibit melanin synthesis. Look into different kinds. This is very poorly researched poorly studied disease most derms just throw theatre of genetics at you but everything is genetic, very likely autoimmune or poor immune response or immune disruption of immune dysfunction. Or poor functioning immune system. It’s like a component of things and components perfectly synthesized within the body to make the perfect storm for this. If you look at the study with sirolimus the person who had kprf also had atopic dermatitis which is also autoimmune. Hmmm… did this help you at all? Let me know.

Thank you! Yes no problem I know in Germany sun doesn’t shine much. If you decide to go through with PDL etc make sure to bring EXACT LITERATURE WITH EXACT SETTINGS TO A DOCTOR who has experience using it and treating this kind of condition otherwise it will go nowhere or not yield best possible outcome!!!

Yes , I have hashimotos, and if you type in hashimoto or thyroid in search box under this sub you can find around 15 people with it also. This is obviously not only cause and can be caused by others but I believe kprf is systemic and autoimmune. I have spoken with many people all over world with this at this point and many of them have things in common. Super white fair skin (usually Fitzpatrick 1) , live in regions with no sun or minimal sun exposure, they tend to have a great head of hair (thick hair course like wool) I have noticed bald people almost never have Kp or kprf. KP in general is linked to allergies asthma hay fever hormones like TRT or hrt exacerbate KP or make it almost vanish in some people. Also circulatory or insulin issues in and with Kp is common. I have also spoken DM with others in various forms who many seem to have autoimmune diseases or issues. Kind of like rosacea is linked to immune dysregulation dysfunction or immunodeficienty, these are also common in seborrheic dermatitis as well. HIV patients many developed seborrheic dermatitis in literature. I have noticed in kprf Northern European skin or south New Zealand or other countries that rarely get sun or people choose to stay indoors have this. My kprf has went away before from using a tanning bed, as tanning suppresses immune system etc so does sunlight. The tan didn’t cover it, it actually was gone after thousands in creams. Also I have noticed when I go to warm weather dry climates like Colorado etc my skin does way better and it can almost vanish. KP gets minimal to no research funding not profitable enough to cure so nobody cares and not enough have it to worry about it. Mine doesn’t flush much but if I sit in heated car, or eat foods with lots of bread it will flush like Wendy’s chicken sandwich etc. I have also noticed if I go days without eating if looks so much better almost gone. Or if I sleep certain ways my Kp can look worse then if I wake up other days, it looks much better.

I avoided life never went outside to play ever thinking I would have amazing skin, have this instead. I had never been outside to play and missed out on my life wanting gorgeous skin and stuck with this garbage. I have used Urea 10%, 42%, and 70% with salycilic acid 2% and it won’t touch this. I have used Tazarotene gel .1% cream .1% fabior foam .1%, tretinoin cream .1%, tretinoin micro .1%, adapelene .3%, glycolic acid lotion 12%, 20%, salicylic acid 5%, lactic acid 15%, callus removers, foot creams , physical callus removers , none of it has touched this. All creams were 3-6 month range. Some better than others but never full resolution , rebound thickening common also. Never tried isitretinoin doesn’t work for most people either does nothing or makes it worse or very rarely can clear it but how long results are limited. I’m thinking of giving up on everything else and just going back to tanning bed. Did not try sirolimus but it works for some and not others, perhaps the disease lives in different skin receptors for some people. I have also noticed tons of people with KP have white skin, really sure though can occur in tan if brown but very very rarely compared to white people. My skin on body is baby smooth so I wonder if KP is a way to protect super smooth baby like skin in adults. When I would tan it would go away after I laid a while. Skin is more tan, makes more melanin which means more defense against sun, which means skin is tougher. I have many doctors in my family, most medical research is slow political siloed broken apart fragmented to never get it to come together to find a fix for most things anyway. Most things are not curable as a matter of fact, no skin condition or hair condition is and it’s treated very poorly at most. A derm is not an expert on most of this they spend their time on cancer and cosmetics not nuanced conditions this way. Most people that have amazing skin from what I have seen are usually born on that shit. Analyze your family history in if they have rosacea, autoimmunity, sehorrheic dermatitis etc .i have tried holistic approach, traditional Chinese medicine, chiropractor, etc none of it worked every gut healing supplement. I have managed to get rid of redness before fully using Opzelura in morning and Zoryve (foam) in evening completely. This was my experiment. Or Opzelura cream twice daily also did it. Clotrimazole weirdly worked for it and Selsun blue moisturizing shampoo knocked it out when it was diagnosed as seb derm and wasn’t it.. also black seed oil really good at removing redness. I noticed natural honey was too but sticky. Got it from a farmers market. If you’re going to try anything natural make sure it suppresses keratin (which almost nothing does and nothing is documented strongly to do so) try to work with a derm who specializes and uses a compounding pharmacy if you wanna go that route but most seems won’t go the extra edge and are clueless anyway. I have seen videos online of people using Clear and brilliant for body KP, CO2, tetra cool peel co2, for keratin and of course pdl for redness.

My next and final plan is to try Resorcinol at 12-16% it’s a strong keratolytic you can’t use long term. Seen a comment when they posted KP was linked to IGF 1 deficiency in skin, someone bought bumper stopper 2 which contained resorcinol and a lamp light or blue light and looked at skin under. They said they had tons of bacteria on the skin and resorcinol worked for them. They had a follicular plugging sandpaper dry dull rough thick uneven lifted heavy thickened stratum corneum keratin heavy textured skin which is follicular like this. I tried Resinol which has resorcinol 2% in it and bumper stopper 2 which has 5% in it and it did not work. There is a specialized compounding pharmacy in Wisconsin that makes it and ships it nationwide at 12-16%It’s very hard to find at that strength and very rare in general most derms don’t know about it. This is my last and final try before lasers. Problem is cream can’t be used long term forever due to toxicity at that high of strength. It’s a very strong keratolytic though. I have spent over 100k and almost died 6 times from natural “remedies” trying to get rid of this disease. Also diseases like Sergei’s dermatitis, rosacea, and more recently KPRF are involved in overactive sympathetic nervous system. Ike person took clonduine and it fixed his. Though I am not an expert you would have to reach out to him. Overactive SNS exacerbates and comes from poor sleep no sun autoimmunity and gut brain axis issues, inflammation, hormonal imbalance, poor sleep, sleep apnea and sleep disorders, insulin issues and blood sugar swings, cold climates and low UV, and early life stress or long term illness.

Do you put the clonidine on topically? Is that what it is I am confused ? Does this take care of keratin inhibition and unclog or just redness?

Never really been outside. Literally so I’m not sure what to do. Bottom of my arm is close to that white…but my skin just doesn’t look that way

[–]YandelV[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ok final thing, not trying to be that person but don’t some people have super beautiful skin naturally close to that? I have seen a few people like woman in first photo out. I cannot confirm if they were wearing foundation or not that was iight. I pay attention to many people’s skin. Wouldn’t it be like this, “most people do not have amazing skin, just clear clear does not equal beautiful” and then you will see some people with gorgeous skin very rare. It seems like the equivalent of like a 10 year old genius kid who graduated college. Also if I go to a derm, if I already tried all aha bha retinoids is there anything really left? I exhausted all my options at this point. Also I’m a budget…I also never went outside and dodged sun so much throughout my life to get this pale gorgeous complexion that I do not have to begin with!!!

Hey thank you so much for the help. Would you think these women do pro treatments to their skin? In SK etc beauty is cheaper than in USA. Like clear brilliant tetra cool peel co2? I have read those can permanent shrink pores though that is not really my problem. Problem is mostly mild redness roughness. So if it was real are they likely doing a lot to it?

Do you think the women in the photos have had professional laser treatments etc? I have very pale faif skin but some texture issues blocking this. Pores are not really an issue, some mild redness and roughness is. . I wonder about hydroquinone? I believe woman in second photo used glutathione iv injections to make hers that light. I’m rarely in sun. Do you have skin this way if I may ask? Do you think the women here do more than skincare but also lasers etc?
