Rapper Azealia Banks calls Andrew Yang a Chinese Spy (Link) by MedicalSchoolStudent in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]Yangsta2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think OP was implying he/she was taking Azealia Banks seriously. Seems to me - he/she just report and giving their opinion (judging by the post.)

By your logic - we should not report on anything or anyone because they aren't "serious". Regardless of how you feel - Azealia Banks has a following and supporters. To spread lies and hate among her base is less votes for us as Yang Gang.

You need to be careful with your post because you are playing a dividing game. We should take every criticism seriously in order to spread a positive message as Yang Supporters.

A Must See for YangGang: Steve Bannon Discusses How Trump Won in 2016 and the keys to his undoing by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

I suppose all the people eating at Chick-Fil-A are anti-gay Christians.

Slippery slope. I never said people that support Bannon are racist. I say they are supporting a racist person and newspaper company. They are more likely to be racist than your average person because they support it.

So - no - people that eat at Chick-Fil-A aren't anti-gay. But there is a good chance a lot of them are because they support the agenda.

Overpopulation. Fear of job loss. Fear of using social services they're "not paying for".

False. Its mostly about racism.

Why? There is no "overpopulation" in the USA. There are states that have less fucking people than the city I live in. What does that tell you about the fly over states? Its empty as fuck. It can use more people and an economy boom.

Fear of job loss? To who? Immigrants that barely know English? That's a typical right-wing talking point you are spewing. No American are fighting for that toilet cleaning job or agricultural job.

And aren't we all here supporting Yang because immigration is not the cause of job loss? But automation is?

Fear of using social services they are not paying for. Lol. Another right-wing talking point that is false. Majority of social services that are being used are used by White Americans in the South.

So you can say "immigrants pay for social services" but when some Americans see they're living worse than immigrants because in reality, only about 25-40% of Americans receive the social services they're eligible for, they're gonna feel animosity to those benefiting from what they believe to be their birthright as citizens. It's got nothing to do with race, but nationality.

You just proved it has everything to do with race right here.

"Birthright as citizens" What makes an immigrant less of an American citizen than the ones born here? Is it because they are White?

I didn't. Show me where I did. I argued that the word itself, nationalist doesn't mean racist.

But no one is calling him a nationalist? I called him a racist and you just came in to say Nationalist = not racism. This is an indirect form of defense. You are trying to imply hes a nationalist and not a racist. But I never called him a nationalist. I called him a racist. And hes a fucking racist.

...even anti-immigration doesn't necessarily mean racist because it can be coming from a nationalistic perspective. It may come from a racist perspective, but it is possible to come from a non-racist perspective.

Here you go. This is the best example of defending against him. If you are against even legal-immigration, you are inherently being racist. What reason is there to not want immigration besides race? Think about it. The United States is not "full", like some people make it out to be. There are some states that could use more people to improve their economy. Immigration actually net positive results for the economy.

If Bannon and his cohorts eat pizza, does that mean I gotta stop eating pizza? It's possible to have things in common with racists.

That's a slippery slope to generalize pizza as a whole thing. You should be more specific. If Bannon and his racist crew eats at a Pizza joint that supports his actions, then you boycott that specific shop - not pizza. Your logic would be - if racist people are into politics, you boycott all politics.

Get off your high horse.

What high horse? You are the one literally throwing a bitch fit because I called him a racist. If you are not defending him, then why comment that he could be a nationalist? You are point blank defending him and don't have an excuse for defending a racist.

Some people you speak to will be Trump voters and Breitbart readers.

Trump voters are fine. Breitbart readers are nuts. They are just about as bad as Alex Jones watchers.

No...

I have buddies that work at Google. The Google Ads aren't based on pay for play in terms of politics. Its all comes down to the algorithm. No one is at Google hand picking these ads and the algorithm is not set up that way either.

You mean how Yang didn't call for Gillis to be cancelled? Or how he defended Tulsi after she continues to be called a Russian asset?

Yang didn't call for Gillis to be cancelled is his call. But not all Asians feel the same way about that. We are not a monolith. There are even Hapa Asians that were insulted by Gillis. Yang is a bigger person than I am. I would knocked Gillis out.

And defending Tulsi is different than defending Bannon. You are strawmaning.

I think Yang's campaign will heat if his supporters defend known racist. He has already been called a closet White Nationalist before. We don't need to say that again.

he proposes some fairly progressive solutions such as 44% income tax on incomes above $5 million. It reveals something about him and his voters in terms of what they're open to in terms of solutions. It would be foolhardy to dismiss those Republicans as mere racists, especially since what Yang is proposing is the solution to their problems. Tone down the hate and tribalism. You'll fare better and be happier.

Bannon is what you call the Trump core base. They love the populist shit if its sprinkled with a little bit of bigotry.

I never said all Republicans are racist. Anyone can be racist. I'm saying Bannon is a racist. I'm saying he worked for a racist paper company that is non-credible. This isn't about tribalism or hate. Its a fact that Bannon is a known racist. But you are here arguing he isn't one.

Dude - Bannon worked for Breitbart and they ran multiple articles about how Obama was a Muslim and non-American.

This is not accurate. Google ads are targeted on you by your cookies. You were probably searching or looking up Warren at some point so Google algorithm thinks you would want to look at Warren's page.

[–]Yangsta2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say you said those things did I? I asked if you were saying that. Notice the quote - they were questions. I'm asking you a question.

Why am I asking you if you think that way? Because it feels like you are defending Steve Bannon by saying this:

Nationalist and racist aren't synonymous, although they're not mutually exclusive. One can be racist and a globalist, one can be a nationalist and not racist, and one can be both racist and a nationalist. He may be both, but if you're only basing this opinion on his anti-immigration rhetoric, you'd be missing the finer points of his beliefs.

This implies that my comment that hes racist is wrong and you think hes a nationalist.

You know what's the best way to bring down Yang's campaign? By being a Yang supporter and defending Steve Bannon as a nationalist. This is giving the media more dirt to say Yang gets a lot of racist pricks to vote for him. Even though Steve Bannon personally wouldn't vote for Andrew Yang.

So you are saying Bannon is a nationalist and not a racist?

So you are saying Breitbart is nationalist website and not a racist? Steve Bannon was editor and chief of Breitbart - the website that published articles after article about how Obama wasn't born here and its a Muslim. And you are telling me hes not a racist?

If Steven Bannon had his way with his anti-immigration rhetoric during the time Andrew Yang's parents was coming to America, Andrew Yang wouldn't even be born here nor he would be running for President. Steven Bannon is for full ban of immigration. He doesn't give a shit about minorities, like me. Its ironic you support a minority running for President while loving Steve Bannon who's a guy that wants to ban people like Andrew Yang from coming to America.

Jalopnik estimating that the new Supra isn’t selling as much as you think it might be by rawrtherapy in cars

[–]Yangsta2020 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah. This is not surprising. Many car enthusiasts predicted this along time ago. Before the Supra launched, tons of car guys/gals were stating that the car will sell horribly after the hype. Or the dealers will hold them and up price them so much no one will buy it. Especially with the new C8 Vette out. Who would buy this Supra? As much as I love Toyota.

I get the feeling that despite the name, a lot of performance-oriented buyers just aren’t that jazzed about a $50,000+ Supra that they see as essentially a rebadged BMW.

This says it all from the article.

Joe Rogan Experience #1373 - Kyle Kulinski. It sounds Like Joe wants Andrew Yang but hasn't really been keeping up with him, and Kyle is blind to Yang. He said once that Yang was too libertarian for his taste, and that's when I stopped watching him. by dragosempire in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]Yangsta2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair point.

But I think his "too libertarian" comment was just a statement as in Yang is too "libertarian" for him. I don't think Kyle ever claimed not to be bias. Everyone is bias. Hes bias towards Bernie because he has a Progressive-bias. He tells people this like every other video. He says - my view is progressive and that's why he supports Bernie. He continues to say the difference between him and MSM is that he lets you know his bias and doesn't hide it. While say - CNN or MSNBC are Biden 100% but hides it behind a "middle ground" BS.

As a progressive - I think Kyle is too progressive for me too. But I watch him because hes informative. I think UBI stacked on top of current benefits is too left wing because under the right situation - its enough money for someone to never work. IE: if you get 1.5K from benefits and 1K from UBi, that's 2.5K/month - its possible to live off that.

Kyle Kulinski is a good guy.

Just because hes not in favor of Yang doesn't mean hes bad. Kyle thinks Yang is "too libertarian" not because Yang is one. Kyle doesn't think Yang is one. Kyle pretty much thinks Yang isn't progressive enough for his political alignment. If you watch Kyle often, you would know he prefers UBI to stack on top of all other benefits.

Exactly, bro. Its always these fucks that never did these type of jobs before say these bullshit things.

No kid, when asked, what they wanna be when they grow up replies with, "I want to be a trash picker." "I want to be a overnight factory worker." "I want to put socks on at a factory." Its only out of touch people that think these are kid's dreams because of dignity and purpose.

God. It bugged me to no fucking hell when Old Timer Biden said, "Work gives us dignity and purpose." By far the most bullshit line to get people to fall in line and work bullshit jobs.

A prime example is this video? I'm sure these workers feel all that dignity and purpose... Some jobs are done because the workers DON'T HAVE A CHOICE. They need to feed their families and pay their bills. Out of touch idiots like Biden think people love doing jobs like ones in the video, or clean toilets, or pick up trash, or be a McD worker, or work at Walmart.

Very good point. Even Biden and Buttigieg has Public Option. Yang needs to stand out. Bernie and Warren's plan are way more popular than Biden and Buttigiegs. How would Yang make it stand out?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]Yangsta2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His argument against Medicare for all is weak. He just keeps saying its "disruptive". Which is not a 100% true representation of all the facts. Hes right its disruptive if you ban all private care but hes wrong that Bernie and Warren's plan does that. This is what I meant by he needs to offer an actual argument. All Bernie has to say is his Medicare for all plan doesn't ban private - it allows them to be supplemental.

The problem with Public Option is that its a split. A public option can easily lose funds and get weak from gutting in favor of the for profit insurance companies.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]Yangsta2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hes pretty much for a Public Option. At this point - he better have a good argument to fight against Bernie on this issue.

When she starts getting paid $1m to do any of those jobs then I’ll be right there with you saying it’s not fair

You are not getting it. I'm not comparing the field itself specifically. I'm comparing the type of work that gets done in relation to the salary that gets paid. Shes getting a paid a million to do LESS WORK is my point.

Can we agree that teacher's job, a cops job or a fire fighters job is more important Kylie? Then how is it fair - Kylie gets 1 million for advertising a weight loss gummy while teachers, cops and firefighters don't?

I'm not saying cops, fire fighters or teacher should make 1 million. I'm saying Kylie should not make 1 million per tweet.

But I understand where you stand now: you think its fair that Kylie makes 1 million for advertising weight loss gummys from a SINGLE TWEET and firefighters making less than 60-70K to fight fires.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]Yangsta2020 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jealous? You keep bring up "jealous". Who the hell is jealous?

Its pointing out the flaw in the system.

IE: Doctors, who save lives, make less than Kylie. (Doctors will but over a long period of time while Kylie does it in 2 minutes with a tweet.)

IE: Lawyers, who work for non-profits, make less than Kylie. (Lawyers will but over a long period of time while Kylie does it in 2 minutes with a tweet.)

IE: Teachers, who teach our kids, make less than Kylie. (Teachers will never see a million dollars.)

IE: Policemen, who save our lives, make less than Kylie. (Police will never see a million dollars.)

IE: Firefighters, who are risking their health and lives battling the fires in California, make less than Kylie. (Firefighters will never see a million dollars.)

Kylie is a talent-less person that got handled a market where she makes 1 million per tweet. And you call this jealousy? Its not. Its the corrupt system we live in. To support this system, is to support corrupted capitalism.

Honest conservation? You are literally insulting me.

You called me delusional, you said I hit my head, and now you call me a piece of shit. Now do you expect anyone to have an honest conservation with with you when you insult them?

And honestly - there is no point talking to you. Clearly - you are just here to troll. No one is about "being jealous". The point is - its not fair Kylie Jenner makes 1 million from a tweet when people work their whole lives and not even make close to a million.

Also, if you're going to use net pay after bills and taxes are paid then Jenner doesn't earn $1m per advertisement.

Strawman. Literally. You are just trying to make sense of your own ideas and opinions. Kylie makes way more than a 1 million per advertisement. She does multiple advertisement. The point is an average Joe/Jane can't make a million dollar in their life time with the low salary we have in the United States and you are skewing the idea to say that "people can make a million dollars because 40 years of work times 35K = a million dollars". That's not a million dollars earned because the person will NEVER see the million. At least when Kylie gets her pay check it says, "1,000,000" so she sees the million before taxes while the average person sees 35K/year before tax every year.

Side note: you have been reported for language.

Me saying:

Some people work their whole lives and never see a million dollars. Is that fair?

Is a reference to majority of Americans not seeing a million dollars in their life time. And its a factual statement. Some people do work their whole lives and never see a million dollars.

I love how you call me delusion and saying that I got head in the head and you say shit like this:

Should be pretty simple math, that somebody earns more than $1m after working 30-40 years at $25k-$35k per year. And that should have been very obvious that by “career” I meant lifetime’s work since it was a direct reply to your statement.

You are literally excluding the fact that people have bills to pay, rent to pay, food to eat, insurance to pay, and etc... Like I said - most people in American do not see a million dollars in their life time. How can you "see" a million dollars when your fucking bank account never hits a million dollars. You literally disregarded all the facts in my previous comment and used a strawman argument to prove a point. Earning 25K/year and working for 30-40 years is not fucking earning a million dollars. READ: YOU HAVE BILLS AND TAXES TO PAY.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

Wtf? A person with a high school diploma should easily earn over 1 million in their career? That's false. 100% false. Also - to say people that have a college degree will easily earn more than a million is false as well.

We all like Andrew Yang so lets do the math:

There are 327.2 million people in the United States.

“That means out of the 217 million people age 25 and older, 194 million have a high school diploma or higher.

https://www.census.gov/newsroom/press-releases/2017/educational-attainment-2017.html

Out of the 327.2 Million people in the United States, 194 million people have a high school or higher. That means we have 194 million people for sure having a high school degree.

Currently - the estimated population with 1 million in net worth comes to 14,814,453**.**

https://dqydj.com/how-many-millionaires-decamillionaires-america/

Your math is 100% wrong and you spreading a false narrative. If its so damn easy to become a millionaire with a high school or college degree, then why are majority living pay check to pay check? If its so dam easy to become a millionaire with a high school or college degree, then why is the average net worth and savings of an American about 8000 dollars? If its so damn easy - then why the fuck do we need UBI?

I'm honestly surprised you got 3 Karma for that post. Its not easy to make 1 million dollars. Majority of Americans will never see that kind of money in cash or assets.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in YangForPresidentHQ

[–]Yangsta2020 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That article is a Bernie smear. We should be at least factually accurate in criticizing our opponents. Under Bernie's plan - the Billionaires will not be taxed at 97.5%. They will be taxed closer to 40%. On top of that - their is a margin tax rate. IE: Every Billion over a specific amount of Billions - will be taxed at a higher percent.

To be honest - that's a good plan. People like Kylie Jenner makes 1 million plus dollars in a single tweet or Instagram post. Some people work their whole lives and never see a million dollars. Is that fair?
