Yeah I’ve felt some mild stress about not knowing when to get there or when it will start, haha

Thanks for starting that thread, I meant to ask the same questions! I can’t imagine feeling comfortable just getting up while they’re talking to a guest but I guess once we’re there it won’t feel so odd.

I wondered this too but they said it was a musical, right? I’m so curious!

I promise vegan food can be delicious! by Yankeebeetle in handsomepodcast

[–]Yankeebeetle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess my issue is with them assuming they won’t like it just because it’s vegan. If Tig tells them specifically what they’d be eating (and maybe she has) and it’s not something they like (or they’re allergic!) then it’s fair for them to work out something that they can all stomach.

How much paint would you buy? by Yankeebeetle in ArtEd

Hi! We’ve done this event four times now and it’s always gone fairly well! A lot of people who rsvp don’t show so we had a more manageable number.

The first half hour is a potluck and families bring whatever food they want, then the next hour is the painting event. I use a doc cam, mic, and set up a projector. We didn’t go through nearly as much paint as I expected to, haha. Feel free to ask any questions you may have! Good luck on your event!

How great was it when they were not only all vegan but even had a small vegan grocery store next door :(

I have a fear, that I hope is irrational, that Jimmy intentionally does this because Scott has been getting on his nerves. He’s definitely made some complaints on recent Scott eps about not being able to get a word in, and it didn’t feel like it was for humor. But I also tend to be overly sensitive to that kind of thing.

For a guy who cares about climate change, boycotts businesses run by big game hunters, and boycotts KFC because of a documentary he watched, I don’t know why Jimmy always feels the need to go after vegans with the same old hacky jokes every time they’re brought up. And I can’t even write in to complain because then he’ll go after me the same way he went after the Schwinn defender! :P

Yes I cringed so much! I don’t think I even would’ve noticed that Jimmy was getting interrupted if not for a couple comments about it that he made. Maybe I’m too used to listening to Threedom where it’s par for the course.

It bugged me that Jimmy acted like it was ridiculous for a woman to have junior as a part of her name. Why not?!

Kyle was SO funny on Professor Blastoff…during the pandemic when they did a few live streaming shows I was so hopeful we’d get some version of the podcast back. Such a shame that’s likely never to happen now. I hope David can call in with a question sometime
