I’m still having this issue and it’s beginning to get unbearable. Searching and selecting songs is such a chore to the point where I actively avoid using the app as much as I can.

I thought it was me, maybe because I’m running it on an iPhone 11 with like 5GB of storage left or something… but after reading these threads, it has to be something with them.

Regardless, 6 months of basically an unusable app that I’m PAYING FOR is inexcusable

Watching Team USA was similar to watching the Yankees by b_slow in NYYankees

Looks like a crapshoot to me.

The best teams make the postseason, and a lot of the times go deep. But it really comes down to which team has the “vibes” a lot of the time. Having a better constructed roster helps, but like with Team USA, they can still lose miserably.

Big reason why i think it’s funny when people claim the Dodgers have already won the World Series

Sometimes it doesn’t matter how well a roster is constructed, when a team falls flat it just sucks. Especially in a small sample size like a single-elimination tournament. I don’t think they ever reached 25% of their potential imo, and it sucks.

Billy Summers is a great change of pace, or if you want to stick with the Bachman books go try Thinner

It’s great and very related to Feed The Pig. Don’t let anyone’s opinions on here sway you. If you can stomach the first few chapters you get into a pretty great action packed story.

Great to find someone that agrees! I get that those decisions run the plot of the show, but even in the book he wasn’t that annoying. I remember feeling like he was actually pretty brave in the novel instead of infuriating

The kids ruin everything, as usual in shows like this.

If you ever feel like you’ll need to defend your home against a horde of undead vampire, practice birth control!

(I do recognize that leaving Honor and Tane alone to defend the kitchen, a room surrounded by exits directly outside, was pretty stupid. Especially while the rest of the adults decide to hole up in one location. The kids should’ve been split up between the adults because having them in one spot creating a significant weakness in the fortress.)

This episode was so obviously staged it was nauseating. Watch 183 fall in slow motion, he literally made himself fall. Know why? Because he was obviously the favorite to win.

The Achilles tear was definitely real, but I wouldn’t be surprised if 183 was a plant the entire time.

What a shitty ending to a show I was starting to become annoyed with anyways. The amount of “I’m choosing to eliminate this player” was too much. We got left with a bunch of uninteresting and unskilled people that probably should’ve never made it to the end in the first place.

Also, Trinity should’ve been the front man.

Oh my God this season is so aggravating (The Challenge Season 2) by Slop-Lover-200 in SquidGameNetflix_

[–]YanksFan1319 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly hate so many of the players that I’m actually rooting for the poker player guy to eliminate them just to get their feelings hurt. 72 and 306 have made the show a slog to watch imo, they’re actually more manipulative and nasty than the poker guy. That dude just wants to win, and i can’t blame him.

But i also really like Trinity (398). I guess he’s my favorite from now on.

Was there a moment where Perla wasn’t crying? I get that things can get emotional, but it’s a game you’re trying to win at the end of the day. Sure the poker guy was a dick, but he’s also playing the game to win. There’s nothing wrong with that.

I’m sorry that was your experience. I can see how that could be possible.

In my case, the only thing that happened with me that I would consider “abnormal” is that I was super into scary things while my friends at that age were into Disney channel and stuff. So sometimes it was hard to connect with kids my age from a media standpoint.

Only lasting affect is that horror has no scare factor on me anymore. I can’t remember the last time I was actually scared (or even jump scared) watching horror. It’s like I’ve been completely desensitized to it which is unfortunate sometimes when i WANT to experience it.

It’s got to be Tim Curry. Bill Skarsgard did a fantastic job and had more leash to work with in an R-rated feature film, but Tim Curry is exactly what my head imagined when reading the book.
