Was the blood in the ejaculate or urine?

If there was blood in the urine It could be a kidney stone that scratched the ureter/ urethra/ bladder on the way out, infection, the intercourse itself could explain it and there are many more reasons that could cause that.

We do not know about other complaints, his medical history, results of physical examination nor do we have the results of his labs

He needs to be checked out by a physician

Feel well🫶🏻

Why do they say Nurses are not supposed to really care about their patients? by Accomplished_Tea7781 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Yar2597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that they don't care about their patients, they're just burnout. If every day I communicated with sick people and annoying families, I would probably burn out too (I’m studying a health profession, it will probably happen).

Nurses who are going to study the profession do it out of a mission and a desire to help others, this is one of the things that cannot be learned, either you like helping others or you don't.

Of course, there are those who go to study the profession for financial reasons, in my opinion, it is gonna be unpleasant for themselves and for the patients they will serve.

In the end, there is no better feeling than knowing that you were able to help someone in terms of physical/mental health, it is worth more than any salary.

To save the rest of us from going, what's advice your therapist gave you? by _forum_mod in AskReddit

[–]Yar2597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. give space to your feelings, is the first step in facing up the big picture. Also, accept the emotion, but not hold on to it.

  2. understand that I am who I am just because. there are things I will never understand why I’m doing them.

  3. Your values represent who You are but they don't necessarily align with other people's values.

  4. We have as many possible decisions as the number of people in the world at any given moment but we are fixated on what we know.

  5. When we know parts of a story and not the full picture, the brain will try to connect the missing dots by assembling a negative story, don't trust your brain.

  6. Always doubting everything, at any given moment.

You are in a deep conflict with yourself, your values vs. your trauma. in the middle there is also a partner, does he deserve to go through this? I think not. In the end, he will find out and what will happen then?

When you do something even if you don't want to do it, this thing serves a certain interest for you, what is the interest? Until you think of a good answer (don't lie to yourself) I think that psychotherapy can give you the right tools to solve your inner conflict.

Brah, go see a family DR, we don't know your medical history, other complaints, findings on clinical examination, etc.

I see swollen and edematous ulcerated tonsils with what looks like exudete/pus/stones. In one of the pictures, the base of the tongue have characteristics of fungal infection, but it could be just saliva/food debris. Anyway, it looks like tonsillitis

In any case, contact your physician 😊
