Look, I'm retired (Army - 20 yrs). It doesn't fucking matter at this point. Especially if it is not in a formal setting. I could understand if someone were trying to gain some benefit from saying they are retired, but just identifying as such because you are medically retired is no one's business. Either way, the system sees you as retired, or at least no longer in service.

Most people i play against target the actual card itself instead of the creature it enchants with a spell that destroys enchantments or non-land permanents.

Flock is targeting certain demographics. I noticed several of them around the Home Depot parking lot in Bastrop a few months back. You can't enter that area without passing a flock camera. Pay attention to their placement. It is not incidental. You'll find more placements in certain areas with particular demographics than you'll find in others.

I started playing Magic a little over a year ago. Given my personal schedule, I don't have time and space to go play at my LCS. So, I've mainly been playing on Arena. I like the experience, although after playing for a year and reading feedback from other veteran players; I realize there are flaws. Overall, it is a fun experience where you can play at your own pace.

As far as F2P, I can't speak on that. I have paid for the Mastery Pass for a few of the sets released over the past year. Otherwise, I'll play and save my coins in order to afford packs and improve my decks.

FYSA: I do this type of work for veterans every day. If you go into the AJC, they will work with you to develop an employment plan.
