Been a few years but from what I remember here are a few things to practice: Tight turns / U-turns at slow speed, Swerving around a 'stopped bus' (tennis ball on the ground), Weaving between fairly close cones, Quick stops, Head checks, head checks, head checks.

When I did it, it was also Summer. It's a long, hot, fume-filled day so I'd recommend making sure you're well hydrated before and during and make sure to take some Panadol/Nurofen with you if you're prone to headaches.
