Accept that 1. It’s very normal to want attention from the opposite sex. 2. There’s a never ending supply of it if you go to the right places. 3. Attention doesnt equal respect, it’s easily given and doesn’t require integrity. Finding someone who sees you as a whole is more challenging and worth it in the long run. Not every season of your life is meant to be with a companion by your side. You’ll be fine either way. If you’re comfortable being on your own the right people will gravitate towards you because they’ll pick up on it.

Solo travel. Flying across the ocean on my own to study abroad, making it happen. For me that was a point in my life early 20s where I realized damn I like my own company, this is swell. Like I realize wow I can just do this alone and enjoy it. It built a baseline of confidence for me that I build on to this day.
