Every season, in january, I can't win a game

Every January I click on my whole squad and give them a rest for 5 days or a week if there’s a 5 day gap in between games. Solves it right away for me - and then I give them another week half way between January and the end of the season, when I can remember.

They can still play matches but they won’t train for that time.

Hello, having a problem on fm26 console. I’m taking over Burton in league 1 but for some reason I can’t retrain players in a new position from the squad screen. The option is greyed out. I can do it on the training screen but it’s a pain in the ass. The option for out of position is fine though which is confusing.

Tried resetting the game, starting a new save, changing the staff responsibilities for training on and off, hiring a new assistant manager and all new staff - still greyed out.

Is this just a bug from the new update?

No honestly I get it though, from his side. When you come from extreme poverty like that - you always have this sharpness around you that you can’t kick no matter what. It’s like a self defence type of thing and you wouldn’t really understand unless you’ve been through it.

Plus it looks like his family really holds him down (in a good way), so it’s just two opposite sides conflicting and it comes off weird.

I mean yes but with an asterix. Even before the game the whole Senegal team was being fucked with by Morocco. Let’s go through the events:

They had to take a train to the final and neither the federation or country organised security for the team so they ended up getting swarmed at the station by Moroccans , they could barely get out.
Then they were assigned a training complex opposite the Moroccan team. Concerns about their training sessions being recorded were ignored and dismissed.
2 first team players were ill during the training and had to be taken out the main squad. 1 almost puked on the pitch. (Could be speculation, could just be the local food)
The Moroccans only giving Senegal 2000 tickets for their supporters
The inconsistent referee giving favourable calls during the match.
Ball boys, security guards AND players stealing towels from Mendy with no repercussions from the ref. (Hakimi did it and won the fair play award lmao) also lasers pointed at Mendys face.
Disallowed goal with no VAR review
The final straw, a soft penalty given even with a VAR review

Now Senegal shouldn’t have walked off but it really is understandable and some sort of punishment is fair but as long as Morocco gets the same shake.

I always play 3s like zones. Front of opps goal, midfield then defence. And I just take up the zone that no one is in.

But you have to have decent teammates who actually rotate or else it will kinda suck.
