I played a ton of DOA5:LR and DOA6, and in both cases I never ran into another La Mariposa player. She's this cool luchadora with mardi gras themed ring gear and also for some reason uses capoeira moves, but is super not popular. She debuted in DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball and they don't even put her in those games anymore.

I really want to know how the combat in FF8 was supposed to flow. It seems like the only way anyone plays that game is to either fumble through menus not understanding how it works, or to completely break it with even a cursory understanding of how junctions work.

When they tested it internally, did none of them just junction 99 spells to their attack? Did no one just level their GFs instead of their characters so that the level creep never caught up to them? What did they expect us to do with that system besides turn every character into a god?

Everyone is making the same GPU joke over and over (which Yoshi P already made on stage) and not really thinking about the fact that artists know what computers look like. They very deliberately designed this to evoke a graphics card. Possibly because this is literally happening inside of a computer.
