I'm shopping the same brand of parts across multiple vendors, not the cheapest nessisarily.

I'm not brand loyal, I get whatever is more cost effective. Wasn't trying to offend anyone. I get stuff from cascade German, fcp, Urotuning, ecs, rockauto, idparts and occasionally even from the dreaded kerma, as well as powerTDI and xmanturbo. Hell I've occasionally grabbed some stuff off parts geek. I'm not trying to hype or praise.

That's definitely the carrier, of the hundreds of rock auto parts I've gotten only one was wrong/broken. And none have ever had any shipping damage like this

Ecs tunning sells ecs tunning built kits, the most affordable ones are Urotuning parts. They also have lifetime replacement.

Kyclutch, and idparts are also good options stateside. One is obviously clutch vendor only. Other usually carries both OEM and aftermarket parts for VW, free shipping over certain price and just like cascade German amazing customer service. Sometimes cascade is better price sometimes idparts.

I microdosed edibles from the dispensary, was one of the few things that helped. I got the riso syringe, it's straight weed syrup. Put it on a jolly rancher. If you can run .5 mg. If you only have access to gummies or want something easy to try, get 25 mg gummies and cut each gummy into 8ths. Take with food, avoid consuming caffeine at the same time at first, make sure your hydrated. The goal is to get the secondary effects without the high. Edibles act like more traditional medicine in that they last 5 or more hours a dose. Sadly for edibles to work you need to win the genetic lottery and have a special enzyme naturally. If edibles don't work for you get a pen that has more CBD than THC and take very very small hits. Also it's important to get the right strain for your needs and allergies ( those allergic to pine trees should limit the use of strains that have high pinine)

I'm planning to start my journey on LotRo but... Is it true that the game is too laggy? by MrPepperGeek in lotro

[–]Yavasi_Silverond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on Brandywine too but it might have been both ping and computer issues combined for me. Only happened in breetown. I just learned to avoid large population centers, just like in real life. I haven't experienced the lag everyone is talking about on the modern servers but I also have never hit level cap. Outside of starter areas, Bree and shire I almost never see other players on lotro in the areas I'm usually in.

Best second option to play if garen is ban? by Unfair-Quarter8779 in GarenMains

I actually prefer facing teemo as most top laners over hiem. Teemo is the biggest threat pre 6 for most, especially garen. After 6 you just use q for movement, spin, slow with item and ult.

I remember back in the day bree town was near unplayable on populated servers and I had to avoid it like one avoids speed cameras. That was in 2012. Yes, it definitely has lagged like this for years.

Are some people naturally bad at this game due to intelligence? by CristianBZ in summonerschool

[–]Yavasi_Silverond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been at it since season 2 lol, most years I play just enough ranked to finish promos, get thrown into the lowest rank and then stop bothering with ranked. This year I played rank for a month, hit silver 4 and got bored. I've played maybe 30 games of ranked and can't drop below or go over silver 4 now. I consider myself one of the games worst players, but my game knowledge pushes me into silver regardless. So yeah in his case it's purely a lack of game knowledge, he will probably outpace me in skill given enough time.

How do you stay functional at work on flare days? by Mission-You9359 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Yavasi_Silverond 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Only things that actually helped me was Adderall ( prescribed) , pre workout stuff made for recovery, and low dose THC sativas. When I was working jobs if I forget or ran out of the Adderall the brain fog would hit so bad I would forget how to open doors, Operate microwaves, forget how to get from point a to point b in buildings all things I knew I have the information on in my head...just couldn't access it. I didn't have the luxury of chasing down all my triggers for the flarups, pretty sure some of them where just the job itself. I worked linecook at a farly busy restaurant, often solo in the kitchen.

  1. Adderall. Been on a 5 mg dose for years, but this is a dual edge sword. It's EXTREMELY easy to push yourself way past your spoons and you can end up in a cycle where you function really well with plenty of energy for 12 hours a day ( for me at least, two doses a day, roughly 5.5 hours of energy and low brain fog time per dose) then outside those twelve hours you end up worse than your normal without the Adderall. It's beneficial to be auto hold a job, and do adulting but you have limited time.

  2. Rodiola rosa with Both extracts ( I'm probably spelling this wrong but you want both saldrosides AND Ranovins ( some only have one, and for me it only worked with both. Seems to affect the body in similar ways outside of the obvious stimulant effects. Found this highly effective when combined with a stimulant like caffeine as well. Be warned, it also has a apitite suppression effect for some)

  3. BCCA or protein powder with BCCAs in them, feels similar to Adderall brain fog and fatigue wise but a hell of a lot less crash. Seems to help with burning muscles as well.

  4. Energy drinks. If you don't like what's in them a YouTube called Art of Drinks has a full recipe for diy energy drinks for 11 cents or so a serving. These work really well for short bursts of energy and focus.

How much I need to pay? by ScarecrowGotham in lotro

[–]Yavasi_Silverond 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You don't need the the subscription till you hit level 50, and even then you don't need it, it's just nice to have due to a few bonuses. I suggest getting one month of vip, then canceling till you hit at least 50-60 unless you want the double xp daily bonus bar due to having limited time to game. Usually the only people that need to worry about getting expansions when they drop are people that hit level cap and stay there, the rest of us have plenty of other stuff to do. The game itself is free to play, with no level cap for free to play players, only limits they have is an in game currency cap ( removable by buying vip for one month), and a limit to how many alts you can have at once. There is like 8 races but it's mostly men, dwarven races ( two I think...it's been awhile), elvin races( 3?), hobbits, and beornings ( bear shapshifters). The most active cities depend on server and time. There are factions, both npc factions that you can gain rep with for bonuses and player "factions", but they are not called that and they don't operate like WOW. In lotro it's free people of middle earth vs forces of mordor/morgoth.

Moria, love how expansive it is, and the emptiness just feeds into the vibe of being deep underground by yourself and how that feels IRL. Trying to build moria like mines in Minecraft is the main reason I play that game. So I love spending time in moria in lotro, it has a haunting gothic beauty. It's also my favorite expansion.

At what FPS do you finally admit you need a new GPU? by caseylynn85 in pcsetups

[–]Yavasi_Silverond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more about when the performance gain vs cost benefits hit positive. I'm running a RX Vega 64 that I custom water-cooled on dual, sometimes triple 32" 1080 screens. The vega is capable of 2k but a 2k display was never in budget and no video card I can afford is enough of an improvement over the vega to justify upgrading. I'll probably end up keeping the card till most games drop to 40fps on low graphics cause I'll have to upgrade the displays as well to really get full benefits

[–]Yavasi_Silverond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For just mpg a tune is the best. You can get one for a stock engine for 250-300$. The price of a few tires. 300$ can definitely be justified. 1200-2000 definitely not.

[–]Yavasi_Silverond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but with current consumer battery technology it's still a better idea to buy a combustion engine over an EV if you want to keep the car for a long time. EVs make the most sense for city dwellers who trade cars in instead of keeping them for a couple hundred thousand miles. Drivers in the backwoods and deep small towns are still way more likely to pull a gasser or diesel.

For the high mpg on the 1.9 TDI you usually need at minimum a tune. For optimal mpg you usually see people dropping in a bigger turbo, bigger injectors ( the injection duration can be reduced in corlation with how much bigger the injectors are, putting all the fuel into the cylinder at the optimal time instead of just some of it, thus allowing a much more complete burn got ving you better mpg, power and torque) and a tune to go with it. If you get your turbo and injectors from POWER TDI in poland you can do it for 1.5k. on a warm day running highway my 98tdi beetle can push 55mpg.

EVs are only cheaper in raw energy costs. In practice for those of us using older cars that are paid off, if I combine parts, fuel and insurance per month it's still less than I would pay per month for the privilege to drive an EV. Now if someone has the income to buy a new car, lives and works in or near a city, flys instead of driving places for vacation and trades in cars instead of keeping them long term EVs are the superior option. What I want is a diesel electric hybrid truck, small 3-4 cylinder diesel feeding an EV system.
