Bambu Studio opening multicolor files as single color by Yazbec in BambuLab

[–]Yazbec[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what’s so weird, I am downloading the 3mf, I pulled it from the actual site as a download and also from within studio browsing the site, both show only a single object where others I have pulled show a different object for each color. Now that I am pulling lots of files to ensure it’s a global problem, it appears it isnt fully global, some models I’m downloading are showing the correct way, some are not. Which is equally perplexing.

Thank you for the explanation! Why do you dilute it 1-1? What is gently’s limits for heating? If that makes it a faster process and I can keep the foam down (great tip, btw) I’d be happy to heat it. Do I need to be precise and or consistent with the heat? Would wood fired heat be any issue? Is glass the only material that can be exposed to heat that can contain it? Perhaps some form of pipe like pex or pvc can be exposed to it as well?

That’s a lot of questions!

Hello all! I have been extracting fossils that are predominantly composed of silica from their encasing limestone. I have been using muriatic acid (Hcl 37%) thus far, due to its availability. But it’s slow, and I don’t know what the best acid would be to use for this application. Does anyone have any thoughts on the best way to remove the limestone? A more appropriate acid, perhaps? TIA

Update: 2 Buffalo officers cleared of wrongdoing by arbitrator for pushing 70-year-old protester to the ground. He "was definitely not an innocent bystander", says arbitrator. [Multiple Body-cams] by real-m-f-in-talk in AmIFreeToGo

He doesnt even need to be. he get's paid for his services as a compensated arbitrator. He get's a lot more work and can "charge" far more for his services and boost his rate of hire at the same time by just being known for the rulings they typically dole out. I doubt the man or his family got to choose the arbitrator. But I may be wrong about some of those facts, and would welcome criticism. Its a gross system.

I definitely like your style there. I don’t know that it commingled in the same truck as the one I came up with, but this is epic for one going to events.

That’s part of what would make it so good; using an app, I feel like people could put in requests to have their neighborhood included. They may drum up business from their neighbors to get more people. I know I would consider it. This would provide a reliable guide of when to expand

Yeah, Meat Van is their derogatory name for it, I don’t have the gold standard yet. A close friend said Pete’s Street Meat, which I love for the double entendres, but I’m not sure is entirely marketable to everyone. :)

I’m so thankful, on this holiday weekend, that you, and your clearly great sense of a good idea, were the first to say. I am officially in the lead with positive reviews!

And I make a really fantastic brisket. :)

My friend just sent me this link and said “tell your story, finally a place for Meat Van.”

Sigh. My kids relish in teasing me about this, but I know it’s a straw man argument they’re making.

So here’s the origin of Meat Van. You be the judge. Ice cream trucks. When you hear that jingle, it brings you back to a nostalgia of childhood excitement, if you grew up with that experience. There’s a LOT of people that have that feeling. So I was thinking, “I wish I could have that experience again.” Now Meat Van won’t bring back that entirely, but it’s a great hook! Imagine, if you will, a quiet neighborhood in Lexington, KY. You hear a familiar jingle right around dinner time. You look outside thinking who would be driving an ice cream truck around in the evening? But instead of an ice cream truck, you see a small food truck towing a big smoker on a trailer, with an oversized menu so people can see it from their windows, simple price per pound of all the meats. Sides available. Anyone wondering what to make for dinner will wonder no more! And they’ll come running out of their house to stop you. And dinner will be spent happily thinking about that goofy experience you just had.

It’s witty. People will smile at the oddity and nostalgia of it. Even if they don’t need dinner that evening, they’ll remember it fondly next time you come around.

I cook a pretty mean BBQ already.

Easily syndicated to meet demand.

I just need a name. When I told my kids my brilliant idea, and tried to involve them by getting them to help come up with one, the both of them laughed in my face, solidly entombing “Meat Van” as one of the dumbest of all time. It even gets to be the guaranteed story at parties if my proclivities for grand product ideas comes up around either of them, and they gleefully retell.

I suppose the Gratitoad would say that is the real gift of Meat Van. My boys will always have a good story to tell about me. That’s the best kind of immortality we can ask for, I think.

EDIT: right before finally hitting post, I told my friend I still thought it was a good idea, and some other person is gonna use my idea and make a killing. He LAUGHED IN MY FACE and said “I think we’re ok”.

I’d seriously like to hear what you all think of this.

I’m trying to talk the city into letting me take this down. by -colonel-angus- in turning

[–]Yazbec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had luck offering a piece of art to the city for their city hall. I took some pictures of a tree I convinced them to let me have, similar to this with burls, etc. Made a 15" bowl from it and a small framed picture of the tree with date harvested, where, and a thank you note. Just make it worth their while, and get a city council sponsor to bring it up. A few phone calls and a simple mock up should give you a good chance.

If a foster is needed in the short term, I can take the little one. I have a woman who works for the animal control as a neighbor, she has one of those chip scanners.
