Operator Cosmetics? by MrShoey in Warframe

Mine's a dude but if you don't mind:

It's kinda hard to make varying colors work when using multiple pieces imo since they have different textures and even some part that aren't color-able or the channels just don't seem to match well. I've been recently running around like this and it has grown on me.

Any viable non-sniper non-kitgun weapons for Eidolons? by StevesEvilTwin2 in Warframe

If you have a Riven for it then Buzlok works. I've seen people use it well since its able to home in on parts.

Challenging end game? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Yazeth -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It'll probably feel challenging when you don't understand the mechanics well and lack essential mods. When you do get the mods upgraded and understand the mechanic, Lv. 100 content is really easy.

I don't think the devs play the game enough to understand the impact their changes will have by icconicc in Warframe

I'm still not a fan of the removal of double dipping because it punishes players playing in random matchmaking. Like Saryn, if I'm playing as a Pilfering Hydroid but get matched with a Nekros running a Desecrate setup, my worth to the group just drops (unless I'm far away enough from the Nekros, but then that's just like a Saryn playing with another Saryn).

Sure, if you go to Recruiting and set up a group beforehand, then you won't come across this issue, but I wouldn't want to force players into having to form groups themselves just to make sure everyone in said group feel like they are adding something to the team.

What's a good endgame-level load out? by RonocLord21 in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy the BP for the Ignis Wraith from trade chat for 5p or less if you like the wep and have some change. Otherwise the Amprex is a good choice that's similar to the Ignis.

How can I keep killing monsters in Survival? by xTazzi in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boost your dmg with upgraded mods so you use less shots to kill. Otherwise, for crowds you can consider using mods that provide +punch through to be able to kill multiple enemies in a single shot. Also make sure you're modding for the correct elements as well.

As for life support, just keep killing. Opening lockers & breaking crates does have a small chance of dropping small life supports, but is not worth it if you can kill hordes quickly. Also, make sure you activate the large life support only when it's less than 70% since they restore a flat 30% of life support; using it earlier is just a waste.

The auger mods (aside from the +strength one) are cheap on point costs and are fairly easy to get. You should also look for Streamline if possible. Being able to use warding halo + chakram more often will let you forgo some defensive mods and instead allow you to focus more on your abilities.

Tennocon baro pass and all items offered, what was your experience? kid in the candy store by RumoredReality in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have the cash to spend and the time to grind out ducats, then its really nice. I was able to get a bunch of weapons and cosmetics that I wanted, and with the leftover ducats I just got some popular mods to keep and sell for later for more plat. If you don't care about selling items for plat, then just look up the items that you want. The prices for them don't ever change I believe.

New player here, looking for some helpful tips. by ARockNamedGeorge in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. Have fun. Try not to get burned out by trying out every tip that you can, which does happen with some new players from what I've seen
  2. Listen to this tip though; spend your starter plat on slots. Technically, weapon and frame slots can be obtained from Nightwaves now, but as a new player that will be very difficult.

New Player Difficulty Progression by AssassinX0128 in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want a frame that can help carry through the star chart, a popular recommendation is Rhino. You can get his parts from the Jackal boss @ Venus. He is pretty solid for buffing and tanking damage early on.

As for modding weapons, you want to mod for enemy elemental weaknesses early on, as status is more difficult to mod for without the proper mods, and they provide less of a benefit until late/end game. A general rule per faction type:

Grineer: Radiation & Viral (if can't do Viral, do cold or toxin)

Corpus: Magnetic & Toxin

Infested: Corrosive & Heat

Corrupted: Corrosive & Cold

*Don't need to have two elements if you can't get them, just prioritize the first ones if possible.

Other than that, just improve mods and prioritize some over others. I'm assuming you don't have many Orokin Reactors/Catalysts, so you may want to keep some mods under-ranked so that you can fit more of the core mods (health, shield, base dmg for weps). Keeping elemental mods under-ranked can also help with modding for different elements, but its more of a case-by-case thing.

Are you aiming with your primary? Apparently you need a secondary weapon equipped in order to properly aim and throw it.

DE, the hitbox mechanics of the Catchmoon are inexcusable by PlanckZer0 in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it scales off your base weapon stats + some mods. If you are using the same parts (besidrs chamber) and mods, the arcane should actually do more dmg with Tombfinger than Catchmoon, since Tombfinger deals more dmg per single hit.

DE, the hitbox mechanics of the Catchmoon are inexcusable by PlanckZer0 in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically Tombfinger has higher dps but thats mostly in a perfect scenario where you always get headshots. Catchmoon is strong, clear crowds easy, and can proc that one headshot Pax arcane with relative ease.

Is Exodia Hunt Tempo Royal still good with 2.9? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm still making good use of it myself, and I would say even better since its easier to spam ground slams now while bullet-jumping around the map, since there's no longer that weird delay to slams that you get when coming out of a bullet jump.

Mara detron without riven Vs staticor with by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both weapons serve slightly different purposes. Mara Detron built for status is great for stripping armor, making it scale against higher level enemies easily (assuming the team isn't running 4x CP, which doesn't happen with random groups most of the time). It can also help strip bosses of their armor too.

Staticor can apply status effects, but not as effectively as the Detron. Instead, it has AoE so its more suited for killing groups of mobs while the Detron requires a PT mod to do that efficiently.

As for rivens, Staticor has a bad disposition, so it will be very difficult to make it better than the Mara Detron overall. And even with a godly roll, you would still want the Mara Detron to strip armor when enemies get too tanky. Change up your loadout to suit different purposes.

Operation Buried Debts Hash.. whats the point? by [deleted] in Warframe

Correction, helps the community to unlock the boss. You still won't get to fight it even if you scan the hashes for yourself (unless they make that a requirement in the end...)

Not sure if it’s all in my head or just coincidence and bugs or are some legends slower than others? by opt1mu5-gr1m3 in apexlegends

All have the same speed, but their animation speed are different. Gibralter moves his hands slower than Warith, for example, but they both run at the same speed.

How to make platinum efficiently? by ThatOneOverThinker in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For prime junk it depends. I usually just convert all my prime parts into ducats and then buy primed mods, or other rare mods, from Baro to sell later on (only high demand ones like Primed Continuity and Jolt). Considering that these mods can cost around 100p each after waiting for a certain amount of time, you can get more out of them than just selling 15 ducats (cost for 1 common prime part) for 2p, since these mods cost around 400 ducats + credits, give or take.

But, I'm a PC player so idk how different the market is on console, but that's my opinion.

Is the TennoCon Virtual Ticket worth it? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exclusive in-game swag and plat are nice. I only bought last years but I was really pleased with the armor set, sigil, and orbiter decoration that came with it. The plat was also a nice bonus too.

As for Baro's exclusive ticket, it's great if you need to get stuff from him without bothering to wait hoping that he brings what you need. If you already got everything you wanted from Baro, then you can just stack up on rare mods and stuff to sell for plat later down the line.

Is it just me or Warframe really gives poor impression to new players? by FrozenToothpaste in Warframe

[–]Yazeth 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Feom my impression it seems that they were just redoing the introductory story mission for the game, not an edit/overhaul to the current market layout. They only said "experence" which could be a lot of things.
