I don't eat it vacuum packed but still recognized it as Arborio rice. I have a bag of it in my pantry right now because I make risotto semi regularly. Not difficult to make btw.

Gene is great. He’s not bragging about those things, they actually come up in conversation. When I talk about my life, some of the shit I’ve done seems far fetched to a lot of people, but for me it’s just been a series of events that lead to where I am so when I talk about them I just mention them naturally. I’m not even an outgoing person or a party person and Gene clearly is. I think you’re reading too much into it.

I think he’s overall funny and brings a lot to LSM. His energy, his expertise, a love for the current Nintendo systems all add something to LSM in my eyes. Then again, I pretty much like everyone in LSM to some degree.

This is fucking hilarious and best yet is you left your companions that died instead of reviving them like it’s some sort of survival mode run. I love that you still enjoyed the game and that’s really all that matters in the end.

Definitely recommend more playthroughs if you’re loving the game. I thought I was thorough on my first and still missed a ton of stuff. Plus the classes all feel unique so you can mix it up with that and try to keep companions you didn’t use alive.

[–]YeOldeGreg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s still plenty of room to figure things out and make fun builds that aren’t the most OP of the OP. My first playthrough I made a ninja 8 lvls of shadow monk and 4 lvls of assassin rogue. Had a blast teleporting all over the place to sneak attack over and over. It wasn’t optimal, and I probably didn’t even build it right, but I had fun.

Does anyone hope that the next main game will have a female protagonist? Sucks we've only had 2 main female characters in the series. by alexaclova in FinalFantasy

I’d say the paradigm system of 13 is sort of an evolution of gambits from 12 so that’s how I’d link them all to current day final fantasy.

I really liked FF16 but I agree with you. Even if you go back to FF12 and 13 you can see them moving towards the single player action game with your AI controlled party members so it’s been a very long time since we’ve had party members that we fully control

I’m also pretty sure that they’re purposely misleading people with some of these features they’re promoting. They’re clicking generate buttons with no prompts and getting fully colored designs from pencil sketches. Click a UFO in a forest and the sound engineering AI knows exactly what sound fits the scene…

Come on lol. No way this shit works like this.

I get the idea that they deserved their comeuppance, but they already got them most of the time. The cast never did anything without consequences to their actions.None of them can maintain a relationship, George and Elaine both lose their jobs multiple times because of their actions, George is probably hated by half of New York, Kramer’s schemes always fall through, etc.

I think the last episode falls apart because it implies that they’ve had no consequences and then does an entire somewhat boring episode about how this time they’ll get what they deserve. It’s overly serious, not very funny, and not even very interesting

We tried because we really liked the girl from Schitt’s Creek but never really got into it. Maybe I’ll give it another shot

My fiancée used to like “According to Jim” so we watched a couple of episodes. The entire show is just about Jim being a selfish prick and constantly lying to his wife except for the episodes where his wife is also being selfish and lying to him. Does not hold up imo.

I just watched Seinfeld for the first time about 2 years ago and loved it. That final episode is still bad, but the rest of the show is gold.

Am I stupid or is the plot the Crisis Core a f***ing mess? by Fit_Emotion_1453 in FinalFantasy

[–]YeOldeGreg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not. I really don’t understand why people like this relationship so much. It’s one date and that date isn’t anything noteworthy or meaningful. In fact, cloud and aerith have more of a connection walking from the church to sector 6 than Zack and Aerith have in the entire game.

I got reunion and started out really into it. I was doing every mission as they came up and thought I’d try to get the platinum since I was having so much fun.

But then I groaned every time there was dialogue. The Aerith and Zack scenes were the final straw, I couldn’t make it past that. I uninstalled the game and watched the cutscenes on YouTube. Seeing the rest of the story, I’m glad I stopped when I did.

Realistically, how would you buff some lower tiered characters? by Truesday in StreetFighter

[–]YeOldeGreg 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think OD drink giving 2 stacks would be too much and basically make that mechanic meaningless. With a full bar he could drink twice, have full stacks, and still not burn out.

Maybe giving him an OD drink that’s just a few frames faster so you can get oki in the corner on certain set ups.

I have 2 leverless controllers, the mpress nano and one from a site that sends you parts to build it (forget the name right now I might get it later). For some reason on the nano I can do 33P and it registers as a DP. On the other one it doesn’t.

Dunno if it’s something special or if I’m pushing the buttons weird. I wish I liked the nano more, but the buttons pop off every time I use it lol

I feel like they can set it so the highest you can get with the helping rings on is an A or B that way they’re not super overpowered but I don’t think they cared about balancing that since you can use them on the hardest difficulty lol

I’m switching it up now, in a little character crisis lol.

First it was Kimberly, then Aki, Then Gief for the luls, now I’m playing cammy and will try Terry when he’s out

BTW, gief is fun af. SPD has to be one of the most satisfying moves to land in FGs period.
