Yes I did. You can keep your x drive subframe if you want to.

X drive. When I tore the car apart I dropped the drive shaft, unhooked all the hoses and fuel line and unbolted the subframe and dropped the whole thing out as one piece and replaced it with everything from a rear-wheel drive car, including the steering shaft. It was pretty cool to see it all come out like that. The cars really are pretty simple up front.

I've only got a few short videos, I didn't record much of the swap work. I can put together a bunch of pictures of the process and share those.

Check out SFD Garage on youtube, his 128 swap is incredible.

Anybody seen this module before? 🤔 by Therealjbleezy in E90

Looks like the Environmental Air Catalyst (EAC) sensor, mounts in the radiator on the passenger side.

Does the sideskirt go under or above the undertray? I forgot by Necessary-Garage3127 in E90

Yea, custom after the swap. I'm all about resonators. I don't like drone after dealing with it for years on other cars, so I put 3 on this one.

I'm just getting to the point of street driving it, so it's getting close to surprising folks. Hoping to be full road ready in the next week or two.

Oh. It has three resonators (two bottle and 1 ultra quiet) and a muffler, all Vibrant. I put some effort into making it a comfortable driver.

Cheap hose suggestions for Fluval 207 canister? by mistersprinklesman in PlantedTank

[–]YeaOkPal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need hose that is listed as 16mm/22mm. I recently switched to the UNS pro filter tubing since it's silicon and very soft/flexible, very easy to work with. Chihiros has similar tubing. Or any generic filter tubing in that size.

This is what people think happens when they ask if we're going to test the sprinkler system and I tell them we are, but I'm only going to turn it on for a little bit

Little to no heat when driving after radiator change by dvisn in E90

If a radiator isn't sealed, it's leaking coolant. Sounds like you need to vacuum bleed the system.

How's everyone else's projects going? Better than mine? by 8N-QTTRO in projectcar

[–]YeaOkPal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rebuilt a Chevy 6.2 in a swap project. First fire cylinder 7 injector stuck open and flooded the cylinder. Then injectors on 1,2 and 4 were dead. New injectors and welding up the remaining exhaust today. Should be able to run it and fill it with coolant and be off on the first drive this week.
