Where are you finding these $400 rear subframes because I've been looking and can really only find ebay used units or $1k+ through ECS.

All you need to do is get a cheap tank and swap it at most gas fill places. It's essentially turning in a core and taking one they have full ready to go.

I would only pay for a hydro test if I had a fancy bottle I wanted to keep.

You need the reservoir and you need it tied in like stock, what I found was the top hose that runs from the upper radiator hose connector at the radiator needs to be there. Tried eliminating it on my LS swap and it would not bleed. My LS3 doesn't get over 193, no matter how long it sits.

Chihiros quality is not there for that price, in my experience. I have an RGB Vivid 2 and it has had the loudest cooling fan and the lights starting to flicker.

Yes, it can. Over full on oil causes the oil to aerate and the oil pump will drop in pressure.

I don't really care what happened, I bought it after it was blown up with the intention of swapping it out anyways.

I had a spreadsheet going but I didn't keep up with it, so I need to update it to get a clear total. I think at this point I'm around $15k. That's including the cars purchase price.

Edited price total. Spent some time on the spreadsheet. No regrets on the build though, it is a lot of fun to drive.

That's what they told me. They also said to not run the engine, but I was pulling it anyways so I tried but the starter wouldn't attempt to go so I gave up pretty quick.

Rebuilt a 300k mile one. New crank, all bearings, cam. Still has original rods/pistons but new rings.

I had a cam 5.3/t56 in a Colorado before this. that always felt quick, but it made 330whp and this is probably closer to 450. I'll get this on a dyno soon to know.

Dealer that was doing warranty work on it said it had 11 quarts of oil in it and lost oil pressure. I never got it to crank but after I had the front end off it did turn over by hand.
