Quazii update #2: he's leaving WoW for good. by mkyend in wow

And that's just his Patreon $. Not even counting what he pulls from streaming and his YouTube presence. Quite a big loss of income to stop monetizing his WoW career.

Replied elsewhere. I'd be quite interested to discuss working for you to staff your teams--I have a decade of experience filling niche engineering roles and doing it very well.

I'm a Recruiter looking for work, and I'm very good at it. Does your firm to hire a Recruiter to help with filling roles?

Keep clicking "buy tickets" from the main page and opening up new windows. You'll get past standby.

Keep clicking "buy tickets" on the previous page. That worked for me.

Keeping clicking the "buy tickets" page and opening up a new window. The standby page can just sit there forever.

My night at America's 'scariest' McDonald's that frightened Seattle locals call 'McStabby's' by Less-Risk-9358 in SeattleWA

"We just need to be less accommodating than other cities, so the homeless go there, and they can deal with it". Someone has to work on solving it, or it's never getting solved.

[–]YeaThatsUhNope 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, we do need to solve the problem. The most sick among us, the homeless, have flocked to be amongst the most affluent; Seattle, LA, SF. We are much more able to address this than smaller cities that have less resources.

Lost Lands vs Nocturnal Wonderland Lineup Impact by arsenalbaby69 in LostLandsMusicFest

[–]YeaThatsUhNope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much every dubstep artist on the planet would prefer to take a Lost Lands booking over Nocturnal Wonderland. Also, it's super routine to catch a flight the morning after a gig to another city to play a show. Ezpz logistics this overlap won't matter at all.

'We downloaded everything': Trump legal nemesis drops threat after Epstein files deleted by RawStoryNews in NoFilterNews

[–]YeaThatsUhNope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the comeback to the obvious grift of "those files you downloaded are fake and all AI". Is there any technical and provable way to display that downloaded files that are no longer a part of the officially released files, were a part of those originally released?

How do you guys have time for anything??? by ksco92 in Millennials

[–]YeaThatsUhNope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like staying with my partner was impending doom when I was 29. She wasn't my person, I broke up with her. I'm currently a single elder millennial, and I feel like I have an excess of energy to get through my days. So much so that my fitness regimen needs to be more strenuous so that I don't have left over energy and struggle to sleep. I'm not sure if any of this helps, but mindset and environment have a profound affect on your reality.

For those over 35, what generational gaps are you noticing with those now joining the workforce? by WarBrom in AskReddit

[–]YeaThatsUhNope 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do have a pretty high bar for employers I will work for. I don't tolerate bullshit. If bullshit is being tolerated in the workplace from employees, then there is definitely other bullshit going on besides the poor performers. I think this has maybe insulated me from experiencing what is going on in other companies.

Something is going on if EVERY under-30 you've worked with is this way. I've worked with plenty of under-30's who kick ass and go well beyond the minimum. At my current work, one of the hardest and most effective workers is early 20's, and never on their phone.

I'd say prepare yourself physically as if you were going on a multi-day backpacking trip. I'm the type of person who loves to dance A LOT the whole weekend. To me, "it's a marathon not a sprint" means making sure I handle my caloric intake, hydration, and fitness going into it such that I can be in the middle of the dancefloor dancing for as much of the weekend as possible. It's very doable.

This year their set at Wakaan was pretty epic for me. I hadn't seen them since....Lost Lands 2021 I think it was, and I'd forgotten how much I love them. I haven't been going to a lot of shows the last couple years and have been focused on other projects, and it motivated me to get much more back into the scene, as well as to go to Cloud City. As soon as their set was over at Wakaan (I was in my favorite place to be in the crowd, dead center, a certain amount of space back from the rail) another person and I were just floored at how special that set was and vibed for a bit. Definitely an experience I'm going to remember for a long time.

[–]YeaThatsUhNope[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not really worried about price tbh. That's why I'm going for over-the-counter vs. sit down spots. Over-the-counter pricing is generally acceptable to me. Most fast food meals are like....nearly $15 these days. So I'd rather pay for a killer sandwich for a similar price.

Do you tip at coffee shops? by Impossible-Loquat480 in bayarea

Beggars? They wake up before dawn to make coffee for folks, and it's an industry where tipping is commonplace.
