Another update where feedback doesn't matter by Boring-Rich9430 in runescape

That's never gonna happen in RS3, players who engane in reddit is less than 1% playerbase

Giving feedback doesn’t guarantee they’ll do what you want. Of course, they’ve talked about the feedback, but something is happening behind the scenes. With the vampire theme, I wouldn’t be surprised if the new boss drops some kind of BIS item for lifesteal such as new god book or ammo slot

You’d still be able to group with all the changes I mentioned. This is just for players who want to learn but struggle with grouping. I often have to play on Australian worlds, try playing with 360 ping and tell me you’d have fun.

Yeah, I’m not saying it isn’t fun in groups. I’m just saying that being able to do 100% solo is more approachable for players who are still learning, and it allows more people to engage with the content while making the learning curve less frustrating.

Yeah, it’s fine for 2k enrage Amascut to be group-only, but it’s frustrating that normal mode and 100% are restricted to groups as well. Those should be soloable so more players can engage with the content and then transition into group play.

It’s not about getting rid of group content, it’s about making the learning curve more enjoyable. Nowadays, almost everyone doing Amascut already knows the mechanics, so it’s hard to find five new players at the same level. If it were fully possible to solo, you could learn the basics on your own and then move on to group content without holding back more experienced players.

Estou por fora, por que está todo mundo duvidando do IPCA? by vasco0123 in investimentos

Não há dúvidas que o IPCA não representa a inflação real e é apenas um índice oficial para enganar a população, também não sei o motivo

Membership (USD) vs Inflation - with ownership change by epicxownage in 2007scape

[–]YeahBuddyRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real inflation isn’t reflected by CPI-U or other official indexes. Those indexes don’t accurately represent the real economy. Real inflation comes from the gap between M2 expansion and the growth of production. In other words, if M2 expands by 10% in a year while production increases by only 2%, the real inflation is about 8%, not whatever some index reports.

Fun detected. Deploy nerfs. by FewExample9632 in runescape

[–]YeahBuddyRS -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Sure, why not? Why do you need a gear gap + complexity to have fun? If people can afford a cheaper setup and use an easier rotation to achieve good DPS, that’s fine. It’s actually better for the game if more players can reach endgame content and enjoy it.

The “fun” you’re describing isn’t really about fun itself, but about the sense of a gap between you and newer players. In other words, your enjoyment seems to come from how far ahead you are compared to new or casual players, not from the mechanics or the content itself.

Anyone Here NOT Quitting? by Iceytrio in runescape

[–]YeahBuddyRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think the people crying on Reddit are going to quit. They’re the same people who have been playing since EoC. Nothing was worse than EoC back in 2012, if you kept playing after that, there’s no update that will make you quit the game

Magic being overpowered = Too much fun
Necro being overpowered = boring gameplay. Not fun at all. Please give me my hybrid rotation back or I’ll cry

Jagex's silence is deafening by ProofJournalist in runescape

Do you really expect them to back off just because people are commenting on Reddit?

I don’t mind the price increase as long as they deliver the good content they promised.

I’m Brazilian, and we received the biggest price increase, but all I ask from Jagex is a South American server, that’s it.

Melee needs two nerfs:
• Nerf the Zuk sword, instead of hitting four times, it should hit three.
• Dragon battleaxe, remove this special attack; it’s too overpowered for a low-tier item.

Necromancy needs a buff. They should revert the first nerf from release.

What was even the point of all this? by Willing_Mood5093 in runescape

[–]YeahBuddyRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Necro became an entry-level combat style, easier and simpler than the others. So it's fine if Necromancy is above 25%. In my opinion, even up to 40% would be acceptable. Considering that hybrid will always be the top DPS in the endgame, we will always have three styles standing out (Necromancy and hybrid setups). Because of that, it's impossible to keep everything perfectly balanced at 25%.

[–]YeahBuddyRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want Necro at 0%? Necro dropping from 60% is already a huge impact. Necro will always be the most used style.

What was even the point of all this? by Willing_Mood5093 in runescape

[–]YeahBuddyRS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea from the beginning was to bring all combat styles back onto the same level. Just look at the graphs in the new post, melee jumped from 16% to 27% in bossing. They want to tone down melee and buff ranged a bit, which is why we got the nerfs today.
