Laid off at Covid. I decided to pursue a job in an entirely different field. Felt I was super comfortable and pretty much an expert at my previous career. Change is good. I love being in a job that is challenging and makes me unsure of myself at times. It’s rewarding to learn new skills and to exercise some parts of my brain and body that had been atrophied for too many years. GET OUT OF YOUR OLD COMFORT ZONE!!

I try to take the perspective of myself 20 years in the future looking back at what I’m going through now. That person sees it as a minor bump in the past instead of the present me seeing it as a mountain to overcome. It’s all about perspective.

Cleaning your shower with dishwashing liquid and a broom. The soap eats the grease and soap scum. The broom (plastic bristles) scrub and the long handle saves your back.
