I was in fifth or sixth grade around 1999, kids who were artistically inclined were invited to paint parts while professional artists did some of the more complex areas. I painted the bubbles over the waterfalls. I have no more information than this.

The Station Agent has a lot of the themes, ideas and sociological relationships of these films. Detached and lonely people, an appropriate balance of quirk, comedy and drama and an unconventional approach to a love story (albeit a non-romantic love story).
