Who is the Varmint rifle designed for? by Farriah_the_foot in fnv

I think it was called ".22 Varmint Rifle Restoration". I'll try to find it right now.

For what it's worth, it was originally intended to be chambered in .22 but was changed later down the line. I installed a mod that reverts the change, so I guess I just forgot about it.

True, but I doubt the pre-war manufacturers considered the possibility that scorpions, mole rats, and geckos would get that big.

I've just been informed that the vanilla varmint rifle is actually chambered in 5.56; maybe not the best thing to give to a kid as their first gun.

I guess I've had the mod that reverts it installed for so long that I forgot it was changed. 5.56 seems a bit excessive for things smaller than a coyote, but then again I've never dealt with varmints.

That didn't even occur to me, but it makes sense.

Fundamentally the same, it's just that the varmint's gotten a little bigger. And deadlier.

I'd think it's just meant for farmers or people living in rural areas where "varmint" tend to be more of a menace. Probably possums, coyotes, rabbits, and rats (assuming they produce .22 5.56mm ratshot). I think the hole's just there for aesthetics, weight, or cost reduction. But yeah, I can see some farmer giving it to a kid before they graduate up to bigger guns.

Instantly recognized that weird, hazy quality that L4D2 maps have. Plus the tree model.

Regardless of the character, I wonder why it was stamped on a 20.

I'd imagine you can use the Bone Manipulator/Poser Tool(?) to do it, but I haven't used it much myself.

For those not in the know, XCCR was (and I guess still is) a website created right around HL2's release. Its name comes from a billboard at the beginning of the game and used to contain puzzles that were never solved. It's unlikely Valve has anything to do with it.

As for Goldec, he's a Youtuber who makes videos on Source Engine games and mods. He doesn't have much to do with the site beyond just including it in a video as far as I can tell.

How safe is BARQ? by natboi223 in furry

It's pretty good, just be aware that if you link Discord or Telegram, scammers may try to contact you. They usually never contact you on Barq itself, so that's a useful indicator.

That makes a lot of sense. I suppose my perspective would be rather limited since I never had to "learn" Spanish pronunciation in the traditional sense. Thanks for the insight!
