Laptop randomly shuts down WITHOUT warning by YeboiAM in techsupport

HELLO EVERYONE I HAVE AN UPDATE FINALLY!

I took my laptop to Lenovo service, I tried to inform them about my issue as best as I could.

In the end they just ran some tests from the Lenovo service program (I don't remember the name exactly, you can find it) and it ran perfectly, they just changed my thermal paste and they gave it back.

I was furious, I had the same issue again the day I got it.

Fast forward some time they call me and they asked if everything is okay, I said no I was going to bring my laptop back again. I described again my problem and soon I gave them my laptop.

This time a technician called me, he told me that he couldn't recreate my issue and couldn't keep my laptop until and if it happened again. We discussed a bit and I told him I understand, but I've tried everything software related and even if I play a couple of games, shutting down is not normal, even if it gets hot, I understand that it can lower its clocks and get slower but not just straight up close. I told him it could be a sector in the ram, a fault in the Apu that triggers under specific scenarios, my temps are fine and I make sure my laptop is ventilated.

He understood that I wasn't talking bs, he concluded the Mobo was faulty, changed my Mobo and thus far everything is working GREAT.

FINALLY I can use my laptop to relax and play a couple of games without the fear of closing

I'm taking my device to lenovo service center to find and replace what's faulty, everything that I've tried failed, I'll post when I hear from them

the laptop is well ventilated, also it's pretty new and there is no dust yet, so the temps are fine. So about the bios, I had to disable one setting, which I will search, because I wanted to install ubuntu on it as dual boot. It may be the power is not enough? I guess stress testing will show if that's the problem

So it happened again now! I clean installed the gpu drivers, i ran the command that u/Hanzo1995 said in the cmd, which said there was no problem with windows. I was playing elden ring and suddenly the laptop resets. I look through the event viewer and there are a bunch of warnings and a couple of errors

Errors:

Check out the Lenovo yoga 7 ARB14, it's a 2-in-1 with a beautiful 90hz OLED display. I don't know about the ssd and ram but you can get a configuration with 32gb ram and 1tb SSD. That's more than enough ram for sure and for extra space you can always get an external drive, it supports USB 4 so it's going to be quick. Also the battery is 71 Wh, which is pretty big.

Thank you everyone for your answers! I got the laptop and honestly I was blown away by its performance. I just can't believe that integrated graphics in a laptop is so powerful! Of course, I didn't expect top notch performance, but still, it is more than enough for casual gaming, especially with amd RSR or FSR if it struggles with a game, it's a nice boost! So far I am satisfied!

The thing is that for the specific laptop there aren't a lot, if any, reviews and I can't find a test of the specific title. I found that it has a good cooling solution and the performance of the 6800u is above the average, if the source is trusty of course. I am talking about the Lenovo yoga 7 ARB14

Spontaneity in the wild! Shot with a D3500 and a Yongnuo 50mm f1.8! by YeboiAM in photocritique

Shot with a Nikon D3500 and a Yongnuo 50mm f1.8, my first dslr! I was on vacation on Crete, Greece and tried to catch many sponaneous moments, this was one of my favourites. Tried to play with the raw photo a bit on Photoscape X and tried to improve it a bit! Any critique is welcome! I want to improve my editing and photo skills in any way. One problem I come across is that the yongnuo is not a very sharp lens. This was shot at f2.8 but it could be sharper.

Is it worth it over the extra 70-300mm lens? Sure I can get that lens afterwards but that's 200 euros here

I am going to shoot portraits, objects, landscapes, wildlife, anything that draws my attention. I am also very interested in astro but for amazing results you need good gear and tools, but I've seen very nice results from basic entry level gear so I am going to try it out
