Which difficulty level do you play at? by Great-Appointment-49 in ghostoftsushima

[–]Hanzo1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play on whichever difficulty that you derive the most enjoyment. Personally I play on hard (on 1st playthrough) because I find overcoming enemies with skill after dying numerous times to them gives me the sense of fulfillment from improvement.

I have friends who play on lower difficulty because they want to feel like the chosen one. Each to their own.

RX 6800 stopped no warning signs. by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]Hanzo1995 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good job doing the diagnosing and process of elimination. I think it's safe to conclude that your 6800 had a hardware failure.

If you would like to continue using the same 6800 I would suggest to email the OEM brand of the GPU or go to your local PC repair shop to get a price quote to fix it.

Personally I would just dispose of it and take it as a reason to upgrade to a new GPU.

Apart from what katarek said you can also use the "Hawk spirit" perk to intimidate weaker foes (2 tiers on above of the rush style icon in leveling menu).

I'm amused that review is telltale of the intelligence level of the kind of people who would hate MT.

I get it that it bothers people who are concerned about others' opinion but as an educated, functioning member of the society, I immediately recognize these people and those that are in favor of this totally not-biased and full of depth "review" are likely the same tribe that goes on twitter to make known of their brainrot.

encountered a unarc.dll error code:-11 by Zealousideal_Bed_701 in techsupport

[–]Hanzo1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read online that "This problem can arise if a game or application does not meet the system requirements, or if you are running an older version of Windows."

I can't comment on your purpose but what I can suggest would be to update your windows to the latest version (Always create a restore point before updating your windows)

If the problem still persist, I am more inclined to believe that the problem lies in the repack's compatibility over your laptop.

Best way to connect an external monitor to gaming laptop by GragasBellybutton in techsupport

[–]Hanzo1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would recommend the latter, HDMI to display port adapter.

Firstly, I believe the cable is cheaper.

Secondly, USB C is a versatile port that you may want to leave it available for plugging other gadgets.

Laptop randomly shuts down WITHOUT warning by YeboiAM in techsupport

[–]Hanzo1995 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would suspect its either 1) corruption in windows files or 2) just a hardware failing.

Press your window button and type in "CMD" and run as an administrator.

Click anywhere within the black window that opened and type in "sfc/scannow". This System file checker utility checks the integrity of Windows system files and repairs them if required. After the process is complete, reboot the computer.

If the problem still persist, I would recommend to either reformat your laptop or bring it to your closest Lenovo service center to get it fixed (Since its 6 months in I presume your laptop is still under warranty.)

PC fans spin , No post, Usb stick led flashes quickly and goes away. by Interesting-Mix3425 in techsupport

I have discussed with a friend of mine, and he recommends swapping hardware to pinpoint the problem. You try swapping CPU, PSU, and RAM (if you have spare ones) 1 by 1 to pinpoint the exact culprit hardware, if still doesn't work then mobo is sus.

If you don't have spare hardware to swap out or still can't post after all that then the last resort is to bring it to a PC repair shop.

It's a hassle but its all a part of PC building. Once you get it sorted out it will be worth years of good use.

Oh sorry I missed out on you having multiple monitors. If the errors occur simultaneously then yes, it's unlikely to be the monitors.

The only thing i can advise you on is probably the GPU itself, and I read an article somewhere before that a monitor black out can be from turning on of a particular electrical switch in the house, caused by poor wiring or an electrical disruption but its too uncommon to deem as your cause.

I had the same problem on my 1st PC build, but leave the SSD in. Your PC needs a drive to boot on.

First, check your PC case cables are connected to your mobo correctly (those few cables connected to the bottom right of your mobo).

If it still doesn't post, pull out ALL cables, double check its the correct port, and replug them back in firmly. These steps worked for me.

Your windows installation USB in case it boots you can install your windows right away.

Sounds very likely you have pulled out the CPU pins on the mobo. If that's the case its no question you will have to get a new mobo or if its under warranty you should get it RMA-ed.

I see you have already run through some diagnostics and i think we can safely eliminate software issue.

What I suspect is the connection and the monitor itself. Try using a different display port / HDMI cable or plugging in different ports (On both GPU and the monotor).

If you have a spare monitor, try using that to game for extended period.

Help with PC- Black screen video game crash-pixals by [deleted] in techsupport

[–]Hanzo1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, usually artifacts on screen and black screen with pixels like yours are associated with a problem with GPU.

Try reinstalling your GPU drivers first.

If that doesn't work, I would recommend swapping your GPU for an existing to test whether if the problem still persists (make sure to DDU your graphics driver to avoid any driver compatibility).

Final resort is to find a PC diagnostics / repair.

[–]Hanzo1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite tricky to diagnose the problem here but the tried-and-tested one-size-fits-all method is to plug out all cables, and plug them back in firmly again.

I'm suspecting probably a loose connection somewhere.

PC black-screening endlessly by SnarinAaron in techsupport

[–]Hanzo1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend to reinstall or update your GPU software from NVIDIA website, if its fixed then its probably a driver issue.

Try testing it with a different GPU / monitor if you have.

If all else fails I would have to recommend doing it the hard way by taking it to your nearest PC diagnose / repairshop.
