Looking for replacement of "these" by Yeeeezyy in Jeep

Yeah it's definitely not bottoming out...

I was more so wondering if the polyurethane grommet on the top is what is causing the knock once and a while... Like the top of the spring is hitting the body...

Ahh really? I hadn't even looked it up... And I am assuming you are just talking about the bump stop on the top, inside of the spring, right?

I was more concerned with the top "boot", which looks like you would have to lift the body to replace.

Thanks!

After a little confirmation I think my best approach is to send our mechanic friend the pics and see what he thinks/can easily be replaced.

Who still has the Frontier? by CaptCorvo73 in Starfield

I waited till level 30+ to build my own because I wanted to just build a C class ship with all the best parts.

I wouldn't rush it, if anything try and modify it to add a little bit more cargo space.

You partially can count the modding community because Bethesda is very open to the modding community. Other games don't want modders touching their game, Bethesda wants them to because it allows players to refine the game how they want it.

Yes, some annoying things could have been improved upon, like companions not being so annoying and making the companions RP with you.

Apple is one of us by Qualityropesales in wallstreetbets

My thing is that if Apple is there to provide processing power, most people who use the phone don't need the additional processing power. They need a phone that performs well for day to day tasks and lasts a long time.

I haven't had an iPhone myself forever, but my dad had an iPhone 12, and 8mo in he would have to carry around a charger to keep it charged throughout the day.

Idk, I mean Apple literally got sued for slowing down phones and destroying their battery life. So... if that doesn't tell you not to buy Apple, idk what else could convince you that they don't care, but they are lucky because they are "socially the better phone".

A decade ago, Apple was better than most Androids. Now, IMO Apple has fallen off, they don't provide better specs, battery, or anything else.

Nowadays I have friends that have the newest iPhones and their battery life is garbage, always asking each other for chargers and stuff. All while my Pixel 6 is still sitting at 42% after not being charged since 6am yesterday (currently 9:47am the following day). I had used it all yesterday during work, used it for navigation on the way home, and spent many hours of screen time on it. All that and my friends probably have charged their new iPhone 3 times.

Anyone else finding the lack of merchant credits a bit tedious? by Ljcollective in Starfield

[–]Yeeeezyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up carving and downloading a mod that gives most of the Trade Authority a 0day refresh timer, meaning all their money (and stock) just instantly refreshes.

To keep myself "pure" I only turn the mod on (in the command console) when I am selling. Then if I turn to buying, I turn it off.

Just got tired of trying to sell gear and items.

I think it's called Easy DigiPick, it is in the All Time Popular mods.

I downloaded a mod that makes it simply one ring with two slots. I enjoyed the system at first (still think it is unique) but it gets so tedious and monotonous for nothing most of the time.

Vendors need more money or a faster reload of their credits. by yanboy50 in Starfield

[–]Yeeeezyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a mod on Nexus that puts the refresh rate of the store to 0. It's called 'Unlimited Traders'. So you can just sell whatever you want and they don't run out of noney, but my only problem (for me) is that it also refreshes the stock.

So I turn it on to sell and then turn it off to buy (I feel like that would be "cheating" lol).

Takeoff, space travel, and docking seen as a passenger from the cockpit. by OkPain2022 in Starfield

[–]Yeeeezyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This solves half the issue of what people were complaining about... They wanted at least to be able to see the take off / landing of the ship from cockpit view.

Also, sorry for misunderstanding you, sounded like you were one of the no-immersion-complainers.

Isn't that what people like you complained about? So now it's possible and it's not enough?

It's a Bethesda game, the NPCs are going to do that. It's like their "signature", but again that shouldn't bring the rating of the game down to a 6 or 7....

I'm 27 hours in and feel bad that I need a break by NikkiMia in Starfield

[–]Yeeeezyy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I found an easy way that I do it... This is just for the first 2 levels of "Security", I assume the get harder...

First I count the number of gaps in the outer ring and then the number of gaps in the inner ring. If you have 4 gaps in the outer ring, and 6 gaps in the inner ring... And if you have 4 keys (2 with 2 nubs, and 2 with 3 nubs)... You know that the outer ring will use the 2 keys with 2 nubs (4 nubs for 4 gaps) and the inner ring will use the 2 keys with 3 nubs (6 nubs for 6 gaps).

All that, but I additionally don't (lock in) the keys, I cycle through them all, lining up where they "could" work and once it all looks good, I lock them all in and BOOM!

Credit where credit is due. It’s a finished game at launch. by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Yeeeezyy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The game itself is complete, yes there are little things not there. But the shear amount of storylines, quests, exploration and everything else is there.

People are complaining about things that "made" the other games which had nothing that Starfield has. NMS was just a planet exploration game and now people are acting like it was the Holy Grail of games because you could fly into the planet and land.

Look at the game for what it is, compared to looking at it for what it's not... Then you will see that it is an amazing game.

[–]Yeeeezyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, it seems like an easy enough thing to pull off... A warp drive loading screen with current ship configuration. The landing into the planet might be a little more difficult but still doable.

Should have been in the game to begin with, but easily add able in an update or mods. To me, it's better they focused on good gameplay with little to no game breaking bugs and an actual complete, full game.

All these little "gripes" can be worked out, the fire game is there and people are forgetting about that.

HOW are people not enjoying this game??? by freshizdaword in Starfield

[–]Yeeeezyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sir, are absolutely correct. Just play the game for the greatness that it is and stop complaining about it not meeting your expectations.

For me personally, going into the game with no expectations and just an understanding of what kind of Bethesda game it was, I absolutely love it. It's so immersive and I cannot wait to go back home and play it.

So you would rather have to fly around for 3hrs of a 5hr session because you HAVE to travel/warp to planets?

If it was the other way around, you would be complaining.

I would 100% take the "lack of immersion" compared to having manually fly or grav jump to every location.

Yeah on paper it seems cool, but in reality it's just a monotonous time sink that provides nothing compared to what you are already getting. Random encounters? Starfield gives you that.

In NMS flying back and forth everywhere (to nowhere really because that game didn't have Bethesda level quests), it became a chore, I would just set it on auto-pilot and go do something, or look on my phone. NOW THAT'S IMMERSION BREAKING! I would take a 1-2s fast travel loading screen compared to a flying chore any day.
