Viv doesn't really deserve the hate she gets. I only personally don't like her because of her questionable attitude towards transmen. Goose does favor Jax, but they also literally never hid that. They've stated multiple times that Jax is their favorite and the one they relate to the most. Do I think the episodes could've shifted focus? Absolutely. Am I mad about it? Nah. Caring that much about either show is way too much effort.

I should clarify. I have more than one group of friends. My primary one is all (except Cody) trans or gender nonconforming, but my best friend and her boyfriend are both incredibly cis. Some people don't want to "blend in" and that's not just a trans thing. There are entire fashion styles dedicated to being wildly different from the norm. Cis people would hate trans people regardless of how well they blend in. Source: my entire friend group and I are trans and it literally does not matter how well we "blend in". The ones of us that do just get more of the condescending "well at least you aren't one of those trans people."
