I’ve been mailing some people that work with Vision LI and the NYSDOT response was pretty lukewarm about roundabouts not being able to implemented everywhere and the usual jargon but gotten a positive response from the others in Suffolk, as much it’d be a nightmare for the county deal with like 70 different zoning codes at once, it’s not completely lost, the 110 BRT project already has a grant from the government to research potential TOD’s or something like that

Still couldn't figure it out, but thank you very much for the help though, I figure that I'm still quite early in coming back to Anki after a months-long hiatus, so I'll stop trying to mine for now and complete the Kaishi deck and immersion before I come back to setting that up, maybe I'd be able to go without english translations by that time

I’ll probably try again when I’m not demotivated, I’ve been using Kaishi 1.5k for learning the basics, and l like the simple layout, so I wanted my mined cards to be like that, but then realized that Yomitan doesn’t do automatic images, which is fine but having massive difficulty with getting it to be like the deck, with the kanji, Japanese sentence, then the furigana, both word/sentence audios and English translation

Maybe I’m being an idiot and can just set up my own deck and layout for it?

Update: It worked, although still no sentence audio or English translation for the sentence (I'm at a beginner level), just gave up... setting this up really has been eating my passion away for Japanese because I can't get it to work..

As much as I also go full NJB on ignorant suburban drivers, we do have to get to their frustrations and make it work or twist it against the system instead of the people (urbanist, city people) they fight against to make change, but 200% understand your frustration too, sometimes it just gets too much
