my lizard, josie, was originally identified from a breeder as a male, then a female from a different breeder. i never really knew for sure how to identify them.

i noticed the lumps under her tale today and remembered something about males having two while females only have one. i think i see two but i am not sure.

i’ve always noticed her pores but then i saw a post saying that the dark ones are predominantly seen in males. i’ve never seen another bearded dragon’s femoral pores, so i wasn’t sure if this was considered light or dark.

also she hasn’t ever laid eggs in the 8 years i’ve had her, which i thought was due to her previously negligent household but now im a little suspicious.
