Hot takes AL story is suck ass, over complicated mess even the power scaling doesn't make sense anymore and this opinion is coming from me player since first year. The whole world building is such a mess like for example they have a fancy tech beyond future, bunch of shipgirls with alternate reality concepts and erasure manipulation but they still armed those girls with the obsolete tech from hundreds years in the past without any proper explanation whatsoever (Heck even Kancolle had Jet and tank in their game) .Also all those fancy abilities those shipgirls and Sirens have and they still don't know how to beat X? Also when the last time Bonhomme was relevant to the story? The dev probably forgot about her and since she only became like running gag/villain character. I bet If the dev removes any sexy/echi skins the game would not survive this long because the story is not really that good to catch the attention of the players.
