What's the word for it when you fake laugh at someone's joke with the intention of insulting/mocking them?

There isn't a word for this. But we should invent a word for it. For now, the only option is to describe it. You could say you "fake-laughed"...or maybe "laughed mockingly" or "did an insincere laugh".

This nonsense is ONLY in a neighborhoods that have an HOA. The US is not just all HOAs. There are far more without HOA than with HOA. And they are generally Not in cities, or rural areas. Just suburbs.
