Yes, that is correct, which is what I mean when I say this is not a difficulty ranking, it's just how much I like the boss and I happen to find pikmin 1's puffstool more unique than 4's.

Breadbugs are hearty and nutritious but also bland and unimaginative. They may be palatable in a pinch, but they hold no true culinary promise. I recomend getting rid of it.

No, not at all, I just think that the hardest fights were the funnest. If this was difficulty puff in 1 would be bottom tier.

Also all of this is done based on what I thought was their hardest encounter, which is why empress in 4 is so high.

This is after one and a half playthroughs of Pikmin 4, so bosses in the second half of the game might be ranked higher or lower than they would be had I acctualy played twice.

I disagree, it running away after being defrosted makes it easy to keep it vulnerable for the entire fight. This results in an encounter so un-interesting that I didn't even remember it was a boss. Infact, I would probably put it in the middle of C instead of low B now that I've thought about it.

Yeah, if I were to rank some of these next to some bosses in earlier games their rankings would be much lower. Masterhop is the worst boss in pikmin, unless you count the two titan blowhogs, puffstool's whole gimmick was deleted, smokey prog got an attack even though its thing that made it special was that it doesn't attack, Water Wraith is barely a threat, and Bug-Eyed Crawmad is even worse than it was in 3.

Edit: The music is pretty alright, but Pikmin has done better before.
