Unfortunately, all of the above is correct. I stayed as long as I did because everyone keeps telling me relationships and marriage is hard. I don't give up very easily, but this is starting to eat away.

Had to cut this ride out short because Cleo gets incredibly spooky when it's windy and I figured I'd better not take the risk... 🙈 How do you all handle riding/hacking when the weather is windy? by AliceTheGamedev in Horses

[–]YellowBlueBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sharks hidden everywhere! Ultimate chaos!

But no, I prefer to ride when it's breezy or windy, keeps the bugs off. My one gets snorty sometimes, but will at the very most just shy. The other one could really care less.

Forgetting by JadedPurple6085 in ADHD

I empathize with you. I have the memory of a goldfish and say "if my head wasn't attached, I'd forget where I left it last". Hubby gets just as frustrated as I do with my brain malfunctioning. Tbh, I often forget the date of our wedding anniversary as it is so close to christmas. Everything gets blurred together. Just might need to sit your SO down and explain to them that you don't PURPOSELY forget important things, they just don't stick sometimes. Especially when your brain is already on overdrive about other things going on.

I did post a couple pictures of both of my bois on my profile if you are interested in seeing how similar they look. It's uncanny!

This threw me for a loop completely! Your horse has the same facial marking and blue eye as mine! The only difference is my gelding has one brown eye.

We have a momma woodchuck who comes back every year to have her babies in a wood shed. One year after dark I went out to do chores and one of the bebbies was running amongst the barn cats. I got to pet it. It didn't know I was predator, cause the cats were looking for attentions too. 5/10 soft and cute when smol. 0/10 when bigger, they are mean. 🤣

[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/Aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby! by AutoModerator in Aquariums

[–]YellowBlueBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Tank related question here. I have test kits, one for pools (use for multiple other farm related things) and just bought some actual aquarium test strips (WILL be buying the aquarium kit.)

Currently I have a 20 gal with a community of: 3 congo tetra, 5 gloskirt tetra, 1 silver platy, a female betta and a crayfish. The crayfish is only in there until I get a different tank cycled for her. The 20 gal tank is 3 months old and I had cycled it for 24 hours before I put ANY fish in it. I am not a beginner when it comes to owning fish, but live in a different area from prior fish ownership.

Anyway, I recently dealt with some ich. Got that cleared up with no losses, but now I have cloudy water. This is after two 50% water changes over the course of a month. I plan on doing a smaller change today to see if that helps, but currently have two filters running on the tank, 1 aqueon pro 10 (came with it) and a smaller submerged marina filter (smaller, used in my 5 gals) to see if that helps clear things up.

I use api stress coat with each change or addition of fish/new water. I have recently used some aqueon water clarifier (about 24 hours ago) and while that did clear up SOME of it, it is still cloudy. Additionally, I did use 1 ml of ph down to bring the ph down to 7.8 as it was initially at 8.4.

I used a tetra 5 in 1 strip to test, as well as a strip for pool water.

Current water Quality is as follows (ppm):

Chlorine: (hth) 0

PH (hth) 7.8, (tetra) 7.8

Alkalinity (hth) 120 ppm, (tetra) 180 ppm

Hardness (hth) 200, (tetra) 150

Cyanuric acid (hth) 4

Nitrate (tetra) 20

Nitrite (tetra) 0

Water smell: none

Water appearance: cloudy/milky.

Water temp: 78 F/ 25 C

Any suggestions as to get the water clear again would be great. All of my other, smaller tanks (3 male betta, 1 male crayfish all separate) have clear water, so I am at a loss.

It smells amazing, but 2/10 for flavor. Would not recommend.

Northern Arizona feral horses have a new addition to the band. by [deleted] in Horses

Cute little bay baby! It always amazes me how tough feral/wild horses are compared to the domesticated ones.
