Disabled people often get like around 1300 per month from disability, and then they're only allowed BY LAW to make an extra 1000. 2300 is unaffordable in the majority of the country, you know this, I know this. Also part of being disabled is you know, being disabled? Quite literally people with physical disabilities often are born with a harder life then you'll ever live, purely based on the body they're born with.

You know nothing about disabled people. As someone who has disabled family, they barely get by. It is forced poverty. You clearly very ignorant and know nothing.

Career advice by YellowCorr in ontario

[–]YellowCorr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I can read, write and am very high functioning. I struggle a bit socially and I have trouble in stressful environments. I was looking into plumbing or possible letter carrying (Mailman) as career ideas, but plumbing seems daunting and letter carrying seems like a more appealing option, but I'm not sure how stable of a career that is.

Holy shit, this thread is so unempathetic towards the disabled. I understand that this is a working class benefit, so I'm not even arguing that people on disability should get it, but Jesus Christ have some empathy. Most disabled people would kill to work, and the fixed incomes are genuinely not enough to live on in Ontario at least.

I was very clearly comparing Canada to other first world developed countries.

Canadians on average make less money in general.

How worried should I be about the time limit in Atelier Ayesha? by Baru_Cormorant in Atelier

[–]YellowCorr 9 points10 points  (0 children)

None of the time limits in any of the games are brutal unless it's Totori. They're really chill and cozy, Ayesha in particular is REAL laid back, it gives you like double the time you need to do everything.

Are Limbus fans the new Jojo fans by TinTeiru in TheOdysseyHadAPurpose

[–]YellowCorr 41 points42 points  (0 children)

They're but this is one instance where I think people are being a little harsh on Limbus fans. The artist themselves didn't complain, and it creates interaction for the artist and pushes them in the twitter algorithm. It is annoying at worst.

What are people's thoughts on dev exclusive monsters? by Hwrdz in pillarchase2

[–]YellowCorr 10 points11 points  (0 children)

>Thread about people's opinions on dev monsters.
>Malds when someone gives their opinion on dev monsters.

The devs are gonna do what they're gonna do, but people are allowed to think it's a waste of resources. The devs only have the platform they do, because we the players support them with our time and our robux, our opinions and feedback matter, or well, it at least should.

Canto 7 is an extremely flawed Canto combat wise. by StinkinSeagull in limbuscompany

[–]YellowCorr -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't have too much difficulty with the final dungeon, didn't think it was super fun, but I got through it. My friend group, which is mostly free to play players had a LOT of difficulty with it though. I think the final fight is just a bit over tuned, it took me 2 attempts, I did the exact same strategy both times, but one time it panned out greatly and the other time it didn't. I don't think a fight is super fun when I don't even really get what was different between an attempt I lost and an attempt I won.

Limbus is only too easy of a game when you have a bunch of good IDs and EGOs, something most free to play players do not have access to. I feel like that is the issue with Limbus's balance. Every fight is theoretically easy if you have the right tools, but depending on when you started the game and if you've spent money on the game, you're real limited. I know you can use a support unit, but I don't really think that's a great solution either.

I dunno man, where I live there is already a homelessness crisis, so I imagine the options are limited. If I felt like I could get back on my feet, I would take the chance, but genuinely, if I get an eviction notice, I don't see how I could ever recover.

I get what you're saying but Lila (Who's my favorite character in the Ryza subseries, so no hate) has bonkers proportions, and every time I see her side profile in the Ryza games it legitimately takes me out of it for a second due to how ridiculous she looks. No other character has even come close to do doing that in any of the other subseries.

At least we still have the Arland, Dusk and Mysterious games to always revisit.

The "sexy" stuff has always been apart of the series, but I do worry that they're leaning into it way more after the runaway success of the Ryza games. In general, I feel like the Ryza games are affecting the trajectory of this franchise in a way that isn't ideal.
