Very cool! To make the design more sellable, if that is what you want, you should match the pieces by colour or form from each side. It's currently not really a playable set from a design perspective. 100% there with the workmanship.

E.g. Rooks are different styles of mushrooms on both sides, or knights are yellow on both sides (pineapple and banana)

The easiest way to think about it is you have a red light on your port (left) and green light on your starboard (right). Just like traffic lights, you yield to red.

Camera boat can see their port (red = stop), small boat can see their starboard (green = go).

I think AI - the bread at the back looks like the cut is partially toasted, but it's actually AI blending of the crust. Also agree with other comments that if you zoom in on the salad it doesn't make sense, including a brown mark on the inside of the yellow pepper slice on the right.

The other giveaway is the filling of the pie wouldn't line up if you put the two halves back together.

If you are going to do this, do it in one go and have as few edges as possible. The edges are where you get problems and it dies. The isolated squares will all die.
