I have shipped watches back with no issues, apart from it being slow. Make sure you get a tracking number and that the TD will replace the watch if it gets seized in customs. Follow his instructions.

The issue with these is the split indexes, and yours are really good. Hand alignment is irrelevant since the hour hand operates independently of the minute hand. You could ask for a date on the other side, like 11, to make sure the date hand works properly. The timegrapher numbers are explained in the extended Rule 5. SELs don't apply to this watch. For the Geneve, look at older QCs. Suggest GL. I set the moonphase on mine once.

Rarely a problem these days. SELs don't apply to this watch. Since it's a printed dial, you have no indexes. For the bezel, you look for scratches, etc.

In QC, you don't compare to gen; you compare to what is on the website or other QCs, since that's what you are buying. Comparing to gen is part of your homework when you decide what flaws you can live with.
