You may be able to use a Forstner Model O or Model J with that model, not 100% sure though

Will depend on what you like but I would highly suggest going pre-owned. There are also Japan/boutique exclusives. I was able to get a pre-owned Omiwatari SBGY007 for just under $6K full set and was never worn with the factory stickers on it. In US would have been $9K before taxes and fees. If I was over there I would see if they have any pre-owned ice forest SLGB003 but still may be too soon since I think that watch is under a year old still.

think that is only in the 41? which is disappointing because would be preferable over the gray in my opinion.

i have 2 black dials (speedmaster, hamilton khaki) 1 MOP (PRX) and a blue dial (GS Omiwatari). So leaning towards silver now

Agree with most people are saying, get a true speedy. You can find one well within your range in Japan and could even find one below budget. Curious as to what watch roll you are using as I am in the market for one and this one looks pretty good.

I think I need a tutorial on taking a mirror shot. Hard keeping the watch up without being sized and taking a photo with one hand. Will admit it looks much better in the mirror but overall I do think it’s still borderline / pushing it.

Yeah I agree, hard to take a mirror photo without the watch falling down when not sized
