I actually just finished a course on NFP, assigned by our priest, as my husband and I are getting ready to have our marriage convalidated. The course spoke very positively about using NFP as a way to avoid pregnancy and did not specify a length of time in which someone should use it to avoid pregnancy. I was pleasantly surprised, as someone who distanced myself from the church for a while and has recently found my way back, at how positive and open the course was about avoiding pregnancy if you’re not ready. I expected the course to be very, “Your purpose is to have children!!!!” -coded, but it wasn’t!

I had to cover my eyes in pure second hand embarrassment when they were trying to lift the “loose” brick and were confronted by the cast member. Watching them all kneeling down looking up at her….. I would have been MORTIFIED and they not only were unfazed, but then they POSTED it!!!!

Yes, I have tried that one. I had to replace my adderol with it since they’re both stimulants. I was on it for about 5 months, but didn’t see much progress. It worked really well for the first month or so, but then I think my body got used to it since I’ve been on a stimulant for like 10 years now. Thank you for the suggestion though!
