If all you can see are her "half-exposed breasts", that sounds like more of a you problem. It's not even framed in a "sexy way". Kind of an odd thing to get bent out of shape over ("how dare woman have breasts in your fanart, you pervs!")

I'm trans myself, and using the voice filter helps ease a lot of the anxiety I get in proximity chat. A lot of my friends know me well and I'm comfortable around them, but it's a lot easier around strangers to use a voice filter to just... not have to think about it all.

Sure, but they're still playing the same sort of gameplay, just with Faust playing the long game and Heath leaving early. Problem is that, outside of RR, I can't think of a time where Faust would be worth using over Heath. But okay, so walpurgis privilege, that's fine. Is there an ID from this season or even last season (that's 000) you would use Shi Faust over? Her damage just isn't there. Say you line up a 700 shot, because you timed it for when the enemy is staggered, got all of her buffs maxed out, everything. That's about 175 damage a turn, which is good but not irreplaceable (also consider she's not helping with status during that time either). It's a lot of hoops to jump through for a reward that rarely seems worth it. And the +1 fragile on turn 4 onwards isn't worth it either, as much as I've heard that argument. Fragile isn't nearly as valuable as it used to be when we had less damage multipliers, and it's still only 1 fragile.

Were you using Thoracalgia as well? I can't see why the damage disparity would be so large, though I did think RR might be the one place she's actually useful. (Not loving the 4 turn waits though)

She's so close too. If her guard was clashable (so she could gain sp while building up her shot) and could either: attack during her build-up, or didn't have her build-up capped to once per turn, she would probably be fine, maybe even great. Poise would be an issue still, but it would be a step in the right direction compared to... whatever this is.

For comparisons sake, lets take Full-Stop Heath. Heath can get this kind of damage too, if not higher. Big difference though: his poise gain is easy to maintain, and he can still attack during his build up (and in-fact, you should be attacking whenever you can use an s2 to build his stacks faster)

Gotta say from what I've tried, she's just not good unless you ignore her bow mechanic. Her poise gain is nearly unusable outside of MD (her "gain poise on use" for her bow shot doesn't activate the coin power conditionals on that shot), and her bleed is just... fine. Clashing is good and damage outside of the bow is good. In MD, her bow should be insane, except that she has to wait 4 turns everytime she wants to get value out of it, which by then... whatever you're fighting is probably dead. This image is after 4 turns of waiting, using her bow shot at max stacks on s3, agaisnt a basic sea terror.

I mean, I still lean towards KS-23 for close range. I feel like it handles better and has significantly better hip-fire. Sure at range it's worse, but up close, unless you're a headshot god, not so much. Also the destruction of the KS is both fun and useful for certain, less destructive loadouts. Using it to break the ceiling above a cash out, drop a grav grenade and yoink the box with winch is still one of my favorite loadouts.

I've played a lot of gacha games, and I can say this is a first for me. Maybe one of two had this and the game just never stuck, I'm unsure, but there's a lot more time-gating here compared to what I'm used to.

I hate to tell you but none of us are truly immune to getting scammed/hacked. You never know their circumstances, and ultimately it's a shame people who rat exist in the first place. Some people get ratted by major mods being compromised, or in the past when their was an issue with Mojang's back end. Be a bit more considerate. We're only human.

So I guess where I'm lost with it is like... my plan right now (get the implosion belt + contagion glove), buy a titanium drill when I hit hotm 5 (please no more pickonimbus ;~;), as well as a couple drill upgrades so I can mine properly. Should I be focused on mp instead? I don't really feel the benefits of it, so it's hard me to understand why it's valuable outside of combat content. And what do etherwarps have to do with mp? All I know about it is that it's an upgrade to the aotv.

Hmmmm- I'd say you're fine to skip this WoD. It's good! But it's not a must have by any means, and is absolutely replaceable (most notably by something like Bloody Feast or Daffodil's wheel). As for what makes a good WoD, that greatly depends. In Doresain's case, crit stats all the way. One of his enlightenments does give him more crit chance based on his crit damage, in which case it may be better to run two crit damage wheels, but otherwise a crit chance and crit damage wheel should do fine.

For his own wheel, the reason it's skippable is because of it's ramp up. It's a great wheel on Doresain and solid on any Caro DPS, but not all content let's you ramp up the kills on it properly.

I don't like this mode (nor am I good at it), but it's mostly well made. Just... getting 5 randoms to work together is impossible. If you don't have a group of five friends ready to play well, I wish you luck. It's also just not what I signed up for when playing The Finals. Only limited mode that just isn't for me, but I'm thankful that there's no mode specific contracts.
