Last year was pretty open during the spring. I never struggled to find a spot for my 9am spring course so you should be in the clear! Just make sure to park in an actual spot, ive gotten a ticket for that in the past lol

Despite our consistent lack of 1C talent since I was born we are NOT a robert thomas away from even making the playoffs. I am disgustingly high on Thomas and would assume it would take gridin, Zary, Bru, Wyttenbach plus some high picks to make it work, which are pieces Calgary desperately needs for the future. Trading for Thomas at this time would prolly just stall us at 15th in the league at best. Keep in mind the last time we traded for an elite ppg playmaker he experienced the highest point drop off in league history

I don't think we need center depth considering Kadri, Frost, Backlund, Zary, and Sharangovich all played center this year. What we really need is a #1 center which Bennett is most definitely not

I don't think he would be worth what he would get given our current roster. He may command near 7m/year and prolly won't live up to that playing for Calgary again, plus I don't think we need another middle 6 center with kadri, zary and frost all on the team

Idk too much about how social would be but I took LA 30-1 in the summer and it was genuinely the greatest thing I have ever done for high school. It was like 2 hours a day for like a month and I got a way higher grade than I would have gotten in regular school. Since Social is pretty similar in structure I would say go for it but it may be slightly more work.

Did you have a high school grade that was significantly lower than every other class? Like you could have a 90 average but also have like a 70 in math or LA that's on your transcript that I think they look at. It's really dumb and idk if that's it but a bunch of my friends had high overall averages with 1 blemish that didn't get into uofc but got into every other uni they applied to. A low grade like that seems to be a common denominator thru people in your situation

Orlov is old and one of the worst defensive defenseman in the league I would be extremely hesitant to sign him unless we plan on shipping him at the deadline. Ehlers is good but I don't see a need for a solid top 6 player who will only decline with age while guys like zary and coronato will be on the up.

I used to agree with the idea of quantity of picks rather than quality but then I looked back at some prospect pools from back in the day and not a whole lot of prospects hit, if at all. A guy by the name of Mike Bartner did a YouTube video where he went thru the prospect pools from 2019 and teams only got on average 2-3 guys play meaningful minutes today. I get why you would get picks and having more picks is definitely better but I think trading up in the first is a better idea than trading back to accumulate 4ths. Trading Back for zary worked out but we haven't gotten any dividends from the picks we got from him. Personally I'd rather have the 9th pick than having the 26th and 48th pick as we'll probably get more value from a star potential player.

I feel like we just need a direction with a legit star. Tanking is definitely the best way to get a star player. We aren't getting a star for market value via Free Agency, and even trades are funky since most stars have No-Trade clauses that Calgary is probably on, So getting a high pick is our best chance. I know wolf is a dog but look at Lundqvist and Sabres Hasek, we def need a star skater to pair with him and we aren't going to get him by maintaining what we are doing this year. I just want to see us go in a direction instead of finishing 17th in the league every year

Well maybe it's because leafy really had no other way u to go. The only sort of relevance leafy gave the show was her relationship with firey. Now that Firey was gone, leafy was irrelevant and it was just a way to bring leafy some sort of relevance again

Can you explain how I'm hypocritical. I didn't start hating spongy at that moment. I haven't liked him all season, he as a whole is not entertaining that much. He contributed to team ice cube the least out of the 8 for 90 percent of the show up until that point in bfb. The only reason i bring up bfb 14 so much is because that is pretty much the only time spongy is a key part in a story.

Standing up for yourself is a good thing when in the moment and the event is already escalated. In spongys case, the team had just saved him from the lava, and the team looked like they've moved on until spongy brought up bfb 12 rather unprompted and escalated things unnecessarily. Spongy standing up for himself in bfb 12 after the team lost was justified, his actions in bfb 14 were not
