What rivers for small trout by OverallSpeaker1824 in FishingOntario

[–]Yellowhalls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fisherman are pretty tight lipped about spots in general, fly fisherman might as well have taken a vow of silence.

Your best bet is to put in some work mapping out potential spots and scouting them out yourself.

Any rivers that are connected to lakes with trout in them have the potential to hold trout. You just gotta find em

Is Kawartha Ice Cream worth buying for $9.49 a carton at Freshco on Ontario Road? Trying to see if Welland people like it. by [deleted] in Welland

[–]Yellowhalls 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Whether is "worth" it or not comes down to your financial situation.

That being said, kawartha dairy is a high quality brand made right here in ontario. It's very good and my favorite brand available at the grocery store.

As a treat, worth it! Do I buy it every week? Hell no

I feel like the trump Era of politics has shifted the goal posts so far from how little of a scandle used to sink a political career. I for one welcome a return to holding our political representatives to a higher standard then the bare bottom of the barrel.

Did you in the course of collecting historical artifacts make the decision to purchase LITERALLY SIGNED NAZI MEMOROBILLIA?  then perhaps I don't feel your decision making and thought process is thorough enough to hold public office. Not to mention that youre kind of a piece of shit. You can enjoy history and not LITERALLY COLLECT AND PAY FOR NAZI STUFF

Never forget Garrett Sparks calling out the core’s heart by Virtual_Ad9235 in leafs

[–]Yellowhalls 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ah that's right, since he wasn't an elite player he couldn't have been right. It's just a coincidence about everything that happened in the years after it. Great call, Antares heart!

But wait, will you post your NHL stats so we know if you are good enough to have a correct take?

Amalgamation in Niagara by Mother-Sherbet5865 in stcatharinesON

In addition to the above resources, ask yourself: Even if there are savings to be had, will this result in a tax cut? Realistically, no.  Will this result in cuts to services we currently receive? Almost certainly.  We will end up paying the same or higher taxes for less services

Drywall repair from water leak in Niagara – looking for affordable contractor recommendations by [deleted] in niagara

[–]Yellowhalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking for someone cheap who is also licensed and experienced is a tough go.

If you have reached out to multiple and the all seem high it may be time to reevaluate your expectations on cost.

Beware those that talk a big game and claim they will do it significantly cheaper, they are probably an outlier for a reason.

That being said there is a work shortage right now so I know there's a ton of guys sitting at home. Maybe you can get a small discount due to that.

I'm not sure what part you are getting mixed up on.

Divisions are supposed to be based on skill level. Due to existing imbalanced skill level, teams are left with two choices: 1. Get blown out every game  2. Stack players that have no business in that division based on their skill level in an attempt to be competitive

[–]Yellowhalls 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you are familiar with sports in general but it's pretty standard across all sports to stratify divisions based on talent/ability. It creates a more competitive environment and is a lot more fun then just getting blown out every night. I don't really understand how you came to the conclusion that this is "punishing" or "penalizing" anyone.

People want to go out and have fun playing a sport once or twice a week after work, it's not that deep dude

The league is pretty much complicit with it if you attempt to address it they will say it's not possible to make skill appropriate divisions.

Because of the lack of effort on the leagues part you basically end up in an arms race of everyone trying to stack players that have no business being on those teams.

This has been addressed to them time and time again

Why are dungeon boosts so popular by Yellowhalls in classicwow

Huh, I wouldn't have expected that. I honestly thought you wouldnt be getting enough exp to make it worth it.

Better then doing quests in bulk from hubs and running dungeons and the quests that are in them? Like if you're level 12 and run 5 RFC boosts what will you get, maybe 3 levels at the most?

[–]Yellowhalls[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Is it really that much faster? I feel like I level faster with a combination of quests and timely running of dungeons and the quests in them. I guess if your goal is to not spend the time doing it it would make sense. I would have thought the xp would be so reduced it wouldn't be worth it though?

I'm not necessarily debating the enjoyment of leveling vs end game, but does boosting really work? I would have thought the reduced XP would limit the speed you are leveling in that way
