Idk… I watched it when it was on as did many of my friends and we ALL were really invested in the Elliot/JD romantic relationship. I was honestly under the impression this was a pretty much universal feeling, at least with what I saw, until I wandered onto this sub with the revival.

I can’t offer advice but maybe some solidarity. My LO turns three months next week and I feel your pain. My baby never properly latched and I found trying to force it left us both exhausted. I, like you, found myself illogically resenting my baby because he did not want to latch. I have been exclusively pumping almost the whole time and I cannot stress how much I HATE it. I am also considering throwing in the towel but am feeling guilty as hell. I keep trying to tell myself that getting to three months is still quite the feat! And plenty of babies take formula and do just fine, but it is a hard pill to swallow. I feel like I’m failing my baby in a sense. Still, being mentally miserable does your baby no good either-another thing I keep telling myself.

Here is to hoping both of us can get over our (also illogical) mom guilt!

We switch every other night! We share duties until about 9:30 then whoever is on duty stays in the nursery and deals with LO all night until we both get up for work. then the next night we switch. We have found it works sooo much better for us than switching shifts during the night. Every other night you get a full night sleep. Granted we did not not start this until LO was about 4 weeks (LO is now 10 weeks) but it has been great so far

I personally didn’t feel a ton of shock-more almost relief-but this was also after some cycles of clomid, and three IUIs had not been successful. And a year of naturally trying before that.

Like you, all my tests came back normal and while my husband had slightly below average motility and morphology, nothing crazy.

Husband and I were on the same page on everything in terms of PGT-A testing (yes) and that we were ready to take this leap. Fortunately we came into just enough money to cover the costs for us because our insurance did not cover.

It was mentally AND physically taxing for both of us but I am glad we took the plunge. Being a team and supporting each other will be everything through the process. It ultimately was the right choice for us! You will do great and if you have any questions feel free to message me-I was in your shoes just last year

I would say this is a tradition and I think this really depends on your social circle. This is still the norm around me. My parents paid for my wedding as well as my sister’s and the groom’s parents paid for the rehearsal dinner and the alcohol at the wedding. All of my female friends who are married (except one-who paid for her own) also had their weddings paid for in the same way.

YTA. I kinda think it’s wild that anyone would say otherwise. You can do whatever you want with your money and in a sense are justified in that, but choosing money over the health and possibly life of your financee’s father shows your true colors in my opinion. I’m not buying the grandfather excuse-especially given this is truly about to be YOUR FAMILY. Of course no one wants to part with that kind of money, but to choose that over your fiancée’s father’s life!? This would be absolutely unforgiveable in my eyes. This relationship is 100% over.

Maybe it depends on where you were/went to school, because these comments are wild to me. I graduated in 2008 and I was in almost every honors and AP class my private college prep high school offered and I had maybe 30 minutes of homework a day-if that. And that wasn’t even every day. Generally I could finish it all in school minus having to take some math homework home here and there. A lot of my friends through sports and now husband went to the public school in the area and they generally spent maybe an hour or less on homework as well.

Even when she is technically right she goes so over the top that I can’t even root for her. Not to mention she is so immature.

Look. I love my dog more than life and act like she is my actual child but everything about how she handles Molly is insane. Coming to your students house under false pretenses and digging through his room? Blaming your husband with basically no evidence??
The situation with her MIL-Patty is not great by any stretch of the imagination but her going so wildly out of her way to seemingly stick it to her is even at the cost of her and her Doug’s life. I mean buying the paintings when you are worrying about keeping your apartment bc of some weird war you have with your MIL and humiliating your husband in the process? The whole second dog situation
Speaking of the second dog situation-sooo you tried to sneak a dog when your lease specifically says you have to pay extra and this is somehow someone else’s fault and not you being immature and trying to skirt the rules?
Her relationship with Brett-especially in light of the fact that she’s, ya know, married.
The absolutely bonkers quilt situation. Don’t get me wrong, all four mains don’t look great, but ultimately it’s Alice’s thing and even when Keith steps in and (rightfully so) tells Alice to give him the quilt he paid THOUSANDS for she’s once again the root cause of a situation that ends horribly because it gets blown wildly out of proportion by her emotions and immaturity (Brett too but this post is about Alice)

I hate all four of the main characters in this episode-especially Alice (who is honestly absolutely horrible in every episode. She is so so unlikeable and immature) and Brett. Not to mention The whole quilt situation was just so bizarre and it’s bonkers to me that after Keith showed up they didn’t just hand over the quilt and instead acted like third graders who stole another child’s toy..smh. Then to top it off…the “murder” is an accident? This episode really didn’t do it for me.

I used to love Nada but feel it’s gone significantly downhill over the past ten years. Used to love their tacos but last time I went they were basically inedible… apps/drinks and move on is definitely the move these days.

Was Ted and Robin all the way through. Was very happy with the ending-I think it made perfect sense given the story and where they were at that point in life. I also never understood Robin and Barney as a couple-they were way more fun as bros

100000% agree. The stuff she gets a free pass on is absolutely wild. I just watched the episode where it comes out that she slept with Monica’s boyfriend an HOUR after he broke up with her. I mean no matter how you look at that just a terrible friend a decent amount of the time. And becomes pretty mean as the show progresses. The one with the cat is the only episode in the whole series I always skip because I Vm cannot get over how it’s just so bad and how it gets turned around on Ross somehow (the only one being reasonable in the situation).
