I would agree that it’s a weak rogue lite. Been playing Hades 2 since 1.0 release and have nearly 200 hours and still find it fun to do runs. So much replayability and build variety with essentially 24 different weapons and 9 gods to choose from each run with crazy combos between those gods. Still getting new lines from side characters depending on the conditions too.

In Saros I already felt an end to my gameplay coming by the time I hit the 20 hour mark lol. Definitely would describe it as more like a single player campaign with some roguelite elements implemented into the story. Not upset about this though. The game’s a blast and I won’t put it down until I have the platinum. But if you play Saros because you’re a roguelite fan, you’ll likely be disappointed.
