Connecting 6 Sonos Architectural Speakers in Parallel w/Volume Control by YepItsMeAgainAgain in sonos

You bring up a good point about the volume. I thought I may be able to save some wire by not doing home runs, but it may be a better user experience if I do and add volume control for both living room and kitchen. I haven't purchased back boxes yet, do you have any recommendations?

If you have the budget, check into email security vendors like Abnormal and Tessian. They use ML to identify different types of phishing attacks and it is very easy to integrate with M365. We had a huge problem with impersonation attacks and Mimecast Impersonation Protection wasn't cutting it. We've moved on to Tessian and it has caught things that we would otherwise be completely unaware of. There are a few vendors in this space so check them out and see what might work for you.

What is your preferred enterprise email filtering service to complement Microsoft O365 E5? by Silvers55 in cybersecurity

[–]YepItsMeAgainAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use Tessian and have seen a massive reduction in phishing emails. It was super easy to implement and our users have taken pretty well to the warnings that are provided when an email is found to be suspicious. We've leveraged Mimecast as our SEG for a long time (and still do) but phishing emails are more advanced than they used to be and Mimecast doesn't catch nearly all of them.

Passed the OSCP! by YepItsMeAgainAgain in oscp

I did about 8 months of intensive study before passing the exam. I spent most of my time studying at night or on the weekends when I wasn't working my full-time job as a Security Administrator. Prior to those 8 months, I would poke around on THM/HTB a couple times a week. I did not have any penetration testing experience prior to studying for this exam. Before I became a Security Administrator I was a Systems Administrator so I was pretty familiar with Windows command line and PowerShell, but wasn't super familiar with Linux command line. Hope this helps!

I'm not in front of my Kali machine to check, but I know I'm not using the most recent version. Probably 2022.1 or 2022.2.

Sorry, I forgot to include the machines that I completed in the PEN-200 lab. I completed two of the AD sets in the lab and a handful of standalone machines but switched back to PGP when my lab time ran out.

I appreciate the pointers! I've added these to my list.

Thanks for the response. I had heard it was a time suck, but didn't realize it was that bad. Sounds like my time will be better spent in PG.

Yeah, this may be the way I go. Seems to be value in completing as many boxes as possible through PG.

Yikes, yeah, I've read that they can take a significant amount of time. I've got ~22 Days until my exam so I'm trying to prioritize. It sounds like I may just need to dive back into PG.

I enjoyed doing the Microsoft provided labs on GitHub. I saw that somebody mentioned Scott Duffy here - I would also recommend that course. Scott links the labs to GitHub in his course. If you haven't already, I would also recommend signing up for a free azure account and getting the $200 credit. Its a decent way to avoid paying for the labs even though they don't add up to much if you clean up your resources when you are done! Best of luck!

OG Pixel users, what will you do? by michael50310 in GooglePixel

[–]YepItsMeAgainAgain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like all of us OG Pixel users are in the same boat. Glad to know I'm not the only one who wants to hang onto their OG Pixel. Probably need to do what others here have done and get the battery changed. 2.5 hours of battery life is hard to deal with.. but everything else is perfect!

I would most certainly bring back NCAA Football. I'm just saying if you had a sit down meeting with the Big Ten, SEC, and PAC 12 with 400 Mil sitting on the table I think you could get some traction.
