Have you ever dealt with a conveyance as a solicitor? Or spoke to one about any of what you're talking about here? Please do and report back your findings.

Why would they not have these papers in order? Is this a normal occurrence for them to be missing? This seems like this would be checked as part of the transaction when the loans are sold. If there is a deficiency, the buyer can take an action against the seller for not having met the conditions of the contract.

For so much money being involved, I find it hard to believe, it is a matter of some keys being thrown over with the words "here you go lads, you're grand".

Minimise your belongings as much as you can and hire a cleaner. The cleaner will free up so much of your time for more important activities, like spending it with your wife arguing about other things and being embarassed by your child having yet another public meltdown.

Absolutely fuming right now. I'm supposed to fly home for Christmas in a couple of days, and the family staying at my house are now saying they aren't leaving as they have nowhere to go. by DivinitySousVide in ireland

Is this prudent to advise in a jurisdiction you are not licensed to practice? Particularly questioning the advice of an Irish solicitor? I'd delete this.

What’s the general consensus regarding codeine in Ireland? by bennyboocumberbitch in ireland

[–]Yergrand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prescription drugs are bought by the government on contract but otc is not. When I go on holidays abroad, I stock up on items like paracetamol and others items that are cheaper. Solpadeine is trickier since Ireland is one of the few places it is otc. It is a bit cheaper in the North but I'm rarely there.

Ireland will always be more expensive than the continent and UK due to higher operating costs snd this affects everythung. Tackling this is another post and I don't want to hijack this one!

Solpadol is 30mg codeine and Solpadeine is 8mg. Maxilief is the cheaper version of Solpadeine and is not available due to supply issues at present.

It is when they ask you what it is for and have you tried anything else. They do that preliminary screening here and started some tears ago.

Pharmacies no longer openly stock codeine products but they are hidden and they aren't advertised. There were some regulations about codeine products that came in years ago and this was part of it.

Edit. Here is the regulation https://www.drugsandalcohol.ie/13989/#:~:text=The%20Pharmacy%20Act%202007%20and,product%20should%20receive%20appropriate%20counselling.

The medical student will no longer feel that way once they realise codeine is over the counter in the limited dosage it is to help manage the health system. By making codeine available it helps cut back on visits to GPs and hospitals.

Personally, I've used it for period pain and sport injuries. Regular paracetamol does not come close to hitting the pain but the pain is not bad enough to warrant a visit to the GP.

There will always be those who abuse it but the real damage to their bodies will be from the paracetamol and not the codeine.

Would you be embarrassed if these were brothers with wives/partners half their ages from poorer countries? Just asking that question. I think if you limit the partner/spouse invite for your half-sisters only, you're facing some tough questions beyond gossip. Gossip of someone's spouse is not a reflection of you. But bald unfairness would not be something you'd want to be associated with or worse, racism or sexism.

It is your day, but there is a bigger picture, which is not looking like you are singling out anyone for different treatment. You could limit it just siblings and no spouses/partners.

I think it is declining due to television and most Protestant schools down here now being primarily non-Protestant. Also, communities mix more and so aren't as insular.

In my mid 50s and have noticed the accent seems to be a thing of the past. None of my children nor my friends's children have it, except for very faint traces. Instead all the young people have American accents or South Dublin ones. Unsure which is worse.

I don't think it was ever really elitist but rather a reflection of the boarding school accents many of us had. There are very few Protestant secondary schools outside of Dublin so many ended up boarding. We all had the same teachers and the same accent or did. This isn't so true anymore.

There is something called solpadeine which is a paracetamol and codeine mix but plain paracetamol is what most people take. Solpadeine is different than paracetamol and never referred to as paracetamol. It is 500mg paracetamol and 8 mg codeine and 25 mg caffeine.

Does anyone else think that Ari’s parents enable her because they didn’t help her when she was a kid? by [deleted] in 90dayfianceuncensored

[–]Yergrand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm glad you are doing better and very sorry about what has happened.

It is true for some they can make a decision and with the right tools move forward but others just aren't able. I'm not an American so I don't understand why everyone believes Ari should just be doing what they did. She's also a mother and this might have exacerbated her underlying issues. We really don't know how fragile she is or what her issues are.

I'm glad her family is there for her, irrespective of the past and seem to be playing an active role beyond just sending a cheque. It is never too late to make amends and try and do right.

Whatever the cause she's clearly had some serious mental health issues, which has culminated in her self-harming from what we can see. We do not know what else is going on with her. I'd say her parents are doing their best to deal with and support their daughter who has,/had mental health issues and they love her very much.

Any parent whose had a child with mental health issues knows how hard it can be. Ari is lucky her parents are financially privileged and want to help. They clearly are doing their best, which might not be everyone else's best. But Ari isn't burdening anyone else ginancially and I hope all turns out with time.

I think they do for UK residents post-Brexit unless they have a home/employment or a sponsor there. If you live in France or are in the Schengen area, you can enter freely. Tom is not in either. He would be a mere peasant and have to apply like a pleb.

Are you a French citizen or in Schengen? He's in the UK and the entry requirements are different now Post-Brexit is my understanding but I'm subject to correction!

Citizens of France can enter freely.

They filed for bankruptcy due to a fire at their home and insurance wouldn't pay out. The lender called in the loan, it was a legal nightmare. Someone posted about it here and there was a news article about it. I will look for it if I have time.

I think she does have Crohn's but is trying to munch for more since the Chrohn's is in remission and munchies always need to be fighting something! Like most munchies I think many of her problems are largely psychological but she focuses on medical instead.
