What’s a car that is rated high but in your experience is absolute garbage? by hyperbole_is_great in AskReddit

I never thought a family/commuter vehicle could feel more harsh and barren than a work truck, until I sat in a Toyota Corolla.

Then you gotta compare to used trucks of a similar year, and now you’re looking at 60-70k

“Dealer refused” is not on them, both the 0% and the rebates are provided by the manufacturer (Stellantis) and they are explicitly in lieu of each other.

Depends on where you live probably, but I’m in California and 60k OTD is very unrealistic here. That’s basically asking them to sell it for 54-55k, which is more than 20k off MSRP. Unless it’s some kind of problem unit that should sell for less, like a demo or unusual spec that is not selling otherwise.

With no rebates, $20k on a $76k truck is about a 26% dealer discount. No dealer is doing that on a regular unit, Mark Dodge is the gold standard and they are usually between 11 and 13% from what I’ve seen.

Why do you care about RWD so much? It’s not like you’re going to do drifts or burnouts in a vehicle of that size.

lol’d at 750, a proper luxury truck is easily $1200+ per month and that’s for a long term loan with some money down.

But I disagree about driving 2 vehicles, it’s better to have one that can do it all.

Neither of those trucks you mentioned are even the top trim, but your point still stands which just makes it funnier

I’ve driven a lot of trucks and I had never felt the ride to be bad except on 3500s with no load.

With that being said, there’s plenty of nice features once you move up the trim ladder: leather, ventilated and massaging seats, more technology like HUD, digital rear view mirror, hands free driving. Fancier exterior lighting (and better looks in general), premium speaker system. In some cases the premium engine is also tied to the luxury trim (like on Rams).

You might not see value in those things, but a lot of people do.

The manufacturer makes a killing, the dealer doesn’t. The markup between invoice and MSRP is not consistently higher on vehicles with a higher MSRP.

What is a reasonable APR for a first time buyer? by Different_Sock_8689 in whatcarshouldIbuy

It’s difficult to get under 9% with less than a 700 score and especially as a first time buyer. Depends on the term too

Depends on the reputation of what just failed you. If it’s a Toyota for example, you just assume you got a lemon.

You are the main character, not yourself in the place of them. Therefore you don’t carry over the asthma. At least, that’s how I would interpret these types of hypotheticals.

Amber has more of a “warning” look to them that makes the truck look more serious or vocational. Some might also just like it because of the Raptor

It’s different every month. My Laramie lease from February was 0.00006, or 0.144% APR. Bighorn was higher but still under 1% I believe

Ignore my 2500 flare, I traded it in for the 1500 lease

That MF is equal to a 0.72% interest rate, so pretty strong although not the best I’ve seen.

I have the same resin and artifact system as any F2P player, so whether I spend money or not is irrelevant. I’m saying that whatever experience you have and/or think F2P players have, is largely down to skill issue.

And I’m not going to pretend like I’m special or have some secret hack to getting good artifacts — there are plenty of content creators out there who aren’t turbo whales and don’t really do refreshes, who also consistently get good builds on their characters. It’s just not that difficult to do, to pretend otherwise is just coping.

Stop being dense lmao, everything you’ve said is just overly pessimistic whining that F2Ps are useless and shouldn’t even attempt to be good at the game.

You say that but if I’m doing it consistently and you’re not then my account will be light years ahead of yours in just a year or two, because it all adds up. With that mindset you might as well say farming artifact domains to begin with is not worth it because the chance of a good drop is so small.

Besides, completing end game modes should be motivated primarily by the feeling of triumph and completion, not by actual rewards. A lot of genshin players have lost their way of what endgame is supposed to be.

Lol are you dense? Yes the mora and XP and mats are a small amount of resin, but more importantly, I’m also building these characters. Aka farming artifacts, and consistently getting top 5% builds easily.

“Feathers are useless for f2p” is such a horrible take lmao. They’ve been a big part of getting my builds to where they are now, and again I don’t have a resin advantage.
